I am impressed with your technique, George 🤗 based on your results, you’re doing it right! I tend to go extra and my breads are a little chewy, which is sad after all the effort put in 😝

I also loved that part the best! But now, I'm going to have to make Devonshire Splits, Patchy. and then I'm going to have to EAT them...ALL. So they don't spoil....very unfortunate. 😆🍰

Loved this one! Junior was trying to be your bakery assistant. You were quite right about it being stegasaurus. They all looked great and your dad gave a ringing endorsement. Thank you for the transport into peacefulness and humor.

Living so far away (US), there’s something really nice about hearing you talk about watching the same show on tv. Makes the world seem a little smaller. 😊
I'm impressed by Junior's concentration. Wouldn't be surprised if you come home one day and find that she's made you a loaf of bread.

There’s not one video of yours and Junior’s, George, that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. You are so ‘considered’ and precise in all you do - couple that with your narration, voice + Junior, it’s like visual meditation! Well done for those yummy bakes. Your Dad (and Mum) is adorable. Take care of you and your girl. Christine.
I hope you're aware that we need more of these episodes. Congratulations on becoming a KZread baker! 🍞🥐🥖
You did perfectly fine kneading the bread. Everyone has their own way to knead. The split creams looked yummy. Your Dad's face said so too! I love your baking videos, so relaxing. Give Junior a pat for me. She looked like she was a great help with the measuring.
@Patchy

Thank you! And I will do. She was indeed a big help.
I love how invested Junior is in your baking adventures! The loaf seemed to rise by her will power alone!❤🐾🐾 Little tip or „hack“ as it is nowadays called: Putting a damp (not wet!) dish towel or dish rag under your cutting boards and big bowls will prevent them from slip-sliding about. Makes it much easier to chop, cut, stir etc. 🧑🏼🍳 PS: Your dad‘s genuine delight with the jam filled buns was 👌🏻
I think it's nice how you tell everything calmly and softly😊
I'd be a daily patron to your Patch-tisserie. I love bread. Honestly, your "bad bake" looked and sounded quite yummy by the end. Don't be too hard on yourself. Practice makes perfect and I love your baking vids! I feel like your dad would enjoy being a taste tester lol
Another wonderful video, thank you. As a Bake off watcher myself, I like seeing 'non-contestants' try-out the tasks. Also enjoyed your dad's review and the small giggle in the background (I assume from your mom), along with the geese's hellos. :)

Glad you enjoyed it! And yes it was indeed my Mum laughing in the background haha.
Clint Yeastwood had me yelping out loud! OK, I would eat everything you made here! Those strawberry buns look-- AMAZING! Yeah, you cooked the strawberry too long and turned it into candy. Now and then mom's peanut butter fudge would turn out to be peanut butter toffee! Love watching you bake. Wish I had the interest... Best regards from Indiana!

4:35 🥰😻 George & Junior being the cutest bakers on KZread!!!!! 🥰😻 nice to see you two back in the kitchen whipping up some delicious treats!!! 💜
Great job baking, George. To help the bowl from spinning when mixing cream etc, put a slightly damp folded tea towel under the bowl. 🥣
George, your creativity knows no bounds! I'd love to come to Scotland (I love Scotland, and have visited twice) to be your taste tester! (Move over, Dad!) It was actually fun watching you do this and actually made me feel like I might like to try to bake bread! Good on you! You win the Great Patchy Bakeoff! And Junior wins Assistant of the Year!
I love these therapeutic videos a lot, keep em up George!

I'm a Canadian who's been living in Orkney for the last two years and every time I'm up or down the A9, I stop in at Harry Gow's but have never had a Dream Ring. Will be driving back down in November and will be trying one for sure. Loving the channel!
After a very trying day, may I say how nice it was to come home to your lovely culinary extravaganza!! All so yummy, George. I sense a budding patisserie chef in the making ~
These baking videos are so great to watch 🎉 I watched the last year s video just yesterday 😊

Yeah George, you’ve used my way of opening jars. If I’m too impatient to put the gloves on, I use a rubber band. It usually works but not as well as the gloves. I do love watching you bake because you are so relaxed. Cakes should be made of fish and served to your cat. 🐱🐈
YES! I was hoping for another Bake Off video just yesterday. Junior on the counter just seems so normal and purrfect. Your dad is the perfect judge and only one needed in my opinon. You continue to make me laugh out loud, I always appreciate that. The Highlands are calling. I can see you do have a future with the Bake Off series or your own Patch - tissary. Absolutely, yum yum.
I absolutely loved that scene where you were sitting with Junior by the oven ❤ 4:34 so heartwarming
I was Just remembering that beautiful loaf you did last year! Again, beautiful results. Clearly it's talent.

You should have dad review all of your concoctions!!! That would be fun!
I was very badly lactose intolerant when I was young, but I've gotten a little more immune and better at handling it. If you can handle some cream, but not heavy stuff, you might be able to take lactase (an engine to break down milk fats). You can find different versions at almost any general store.
These baking videos are my favourites - here I am rewatching this four months later.
Man I love a good Pun!... "Klint-Yeastwood" 😂😂😂
It's genuinely so lovely getting to watch you expand your cooking repertoire and experiment with things! Have you seen any of Anti-Chef's youtube videos? The ambience of his videos is different from yours, but he is similar in that he also makes things on-screen for the first time and is genuine about showing the screw-ups and the fixes. I think you'd like his stuff!
You are so talented and enterprising and I find your videos to be a breath of fresh air. Thanks, George!
THIS was so relaxing to watch. I enjoyed every minute of that! Patchy, good job. Your voice is ever so calm...and being an American I SO MUCH appreciate your accent. I understand every word, but makes me want to learn to speak English with a Scottish accent. I found it SO CUTE that JR your cat wants to be a sous chef while you bake. Adorable. Your sense of humor is spot on too, laughed out loud a couple of times during this. A you tube fan, Brian
you made chuckle 😂... loved watching you bake and succeed, well mostly. Fave part you and Junior watching bread bake. She was totally into it 🤩 soo adorable.
Good to hear Harry Gow getting an honourable mention. Love your funny commentary.
Really enjoyed every bit of this. Got to admire you doing three different breads. To me taste is more important than looks.
Absolutely love you style, George. In simplicity there is elegance. Cheers young man. Darryl
Looks great!! I'll definitely visit the patisserie if the tiny house/youtube career takes a side step!! Though, your twitch experiment left me waiting for Godzilla (almost got him!!) and an Irish accent!! Maybe a value added for first customers in your shop!! :)😀

I cpuld listen and watch you bake every evening. Extremely satisfying and mum and dad get treats. THANK YOU❤
You can never have too much garlic, in my opinion 😁 Love that you did another one of these, I thoroughly enjoyed the last one, and you did well this time around too!
Mr Yeastwood…let me just tell you this…your kitchen shenanigans look real & yummy. The nightmare I tried to create about 3 weeks ago looked like Yodi got hit by a bus and lived 🥴 (🕳️😂)
I was just hoping for this video the other day. So enjoyable to watch. Well done Patchy. Also made me hungry at 11:13PM.
“Clint Yeastwood” 😂😂🙌🙌
Love how Junior jumps in to help 😹
I love his honesty as to why he does not bake bread lol. Watching from Canada! I love your KZread Channel by the way.
I LOVE chantilly cream!! Those little nuggets look delicious!! The last loaf with the cheese also looks yummy! Can I make a few requests? Can you make an olive loaf? Can you make cream puffs drizzled in chocolate? I always seem to be sitting here on my laptop when you upload. I'm a lucky gal. Thank you

They look amazing I am drooling as gluten free over here so watching proper bread baking is a bit like self torture 😅 but you are very good at baking! Very calming too.
1:13 Plot Twist: It’s Paul Hollywood in cat form checking all the ingredients.
George, love your humour and commentary as always. Think your bakes were spot on and your kneading technique looked pretty pro. I would call it another success
I really enjoyed this video and I picked up a new way to open jars when I have an issue….”Rubber Gloves” what a great idea.
Those loaves looked amazing. I find that baking is very therapeutic. There is always someone that will welcome your gifted baked goods. Your dad’s reaction was great. Loved watching your video.
Loved the video George! You are one terrific baker and your presentation is both informative and very relaxing. All three of your baking projects looked fantastic. My youngest son loves to make bread for his family and I'm saving this to show him. Cheers from Toronto, Canada!
I am Impressed! You did a Great Job! They all looked pretty decent! I can say You do gave a talent for Baking, continue Practicing You will be surprised how well you can do! I plan to travel to Scotland one day, if You have your Patisserie open I'd Love it pop in and cozy up in the kitchen baking some delicious Breads and Muffins, Crossiants, whatever you'd like. It would truly be a Highlight of my trip! 😊 Keep sharing these videos.. I really enjoyed it!! All Best, Ms. Mary🧄🥖🥧
You’re a brave man George!
I think all three creations were fabulous! LOVE your baking videos. 😊
George Bunnett Your Patchisserie would be a huge success. Love your work and your family is adorable. (Once learned from a chef to use the back of the knife when scraping work off of a cutting board to help preserve the edge.)

George Bunnett... I like it. Thank you! Aw that's a good tip, will be sure to remember that!
Junior is SO persistent! 😍🤩🐱
Great bake off show!! You are funny and your voice is very pleasant to listen to. The bread looked amazing just wish I had smellovision.
It took me a moment to notice the bowl was on a scale and thought, "damn, loving the confidence of free-balling the yeast amount." Also had the same problem but didn't google what a clove is and had the most garlicky garlic dish.
nice cozy vibes, just what I needed today ☺ Now I better get some pastry to snack on haha
The biscuit and bread and jam making with geese + mozzarella on toast are a lot more fun than than money talk.
Beautiful baking! I loved the last one. Checked the recipe and... geez... no wonder it was confusing to plait! The instructions were so hard to follow. But you and Junior are amazing!
What great skills you are learning! Well done, George! Just a thought: you can't always just cut a recipe in half and have it work. Have a look at the book Small Batch Baking, it might help out for the next "Bake Off". Also, I think you might need to knead your dough a little bit longer. There are lots of ways to knead, check out some videos on it! I think they are fun, but then, I am a bit of a baking nut. I think you did a smashing job and apparently so does your dad! Can't wait to see what you get up to next!
I have a sourdough starter named Frank. This video is a good reminder to give him a feed!
I think baking and cooking are fun, inexpensive adventures. I am always happy when things work out but the journey is enjoyable. Love watching these.
Growing up in the wilds of SW Scotland we made bread every saturday. Mum would mix it and make us kneed it , pulling me away from the joys of Saturday AM kids TV :-( But the bread was so much better than the palid, tasteless stuff in the supermarket. Years later they got a panasonic bread maker which does a fine job without the hassle. I recommend you find a source of live yeast and experiment with spelt and other flours.
Your narration is soooo good, love the humour. Great video as always.
Welcome back and I love your videos.
I love your videos so much, and these bake off ones are really relaxing and fun to watch, thank you so much :)
I love watching you bake! Well done!
my kitty's not allowed on the kitchen counter either ("Yeah, right"), so he sits in the sink to watch me cook. ("Well, hey. I'm not on the counter!")
Lovely video, delicious looking baked goods, nice chap, gorgeous cat!
I so enjoy your calm energy and charming manner in your videos, no matter what the subject. Looking forward to more. Sending good wishes for your continued success from Orlando, Florida US.
This was lovely. Just what I needed. And I loved the geese!
"Blow my own trumpet" is "humble brag" in America. Good video. THX
You're a great cook! Love these little baking videos.
I love how you put Junior down and then she reappears on the counter. 🤣
Your baking is so relaxing.
Everything you made looked wonderful. ❤
Just fun to watch!!!
I love your perspective. Nothing else that I watch compares. You are truly one of a kind George. ❤😊

Yes I truly enjoyed this video. It was very amusing and I just love your commentary and connections to other "things". Your voice is also very soothing and calming. The breads looked good, nothing better than warm, home made bread fresh out of the oven, yum...
Thank you for making me literally laugh out loud "Clint Yeastwood"! I keep missing your videos until the day after and somehow doesn't feel right but really learned a lot!

Hey George, I always get hungry when I see all of the pastries you have created! You're such a natural creator of delicious delights that you would be able to run a profitable bakery with ease. Continue to upload more of your cooking sensations because I know that all of your viewers really find them very satisfying!❤😊
I completely agree with you about having to get "enthused" to make bread, as it is quite a process. You should keep cooking and baking your own food - You do quite well!! One thing that helped me to make my own bread more often was to buy a bread machine. Not only can you make a really nice loaf with it, but you can use the dough setting to do all the donkey work!
Really enjoyed this!!
I love your baking videos. All your videos, really, but the baking vids are so so relaxing, and also inspiring. I'm going to give that plaited loaf a try- but maybe w just 3 ropes! Thanks for sharing!
