Thanks for the nice review. About the FOV. Fat Shark Goggles never had a bigger FOV than little over 40°. No one ever complained about this size of FOV. So in my opinion, the FOV of the Integra absolutely makes sense. And if you reduce your FOV on the Goggles 2 by software, you gonna lose resolution. No good solution. A smaller picture with the same resolution gives you a more crisp picture. But this is just my view🙂

Remember fatsharks used to have 50 FOV back in the day on the hd2s. If you notice now most high end analog goggles with the goggles 2 form factor all have a FOV in the mid 40s for a reason. Although everyone is different generally less then 50 FOV seems to cause less eye strain and fatigue, and better clarity on the edges.

I use them primarily with what's called a DIY drone that has an O3 Air Unit in it but you can also use the Goggles 2 / Goggles Integra with a fair number of the DJI drones too (such as the Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro). You'll need to review the release notes of each drone to see if it is compatible or not.

Helpful description of the goggles👍 Not sure how it works with the SD's though, do I remove the card from my mini 3 pro and insert it in to the goggles or do I get another card so the goggles and drone have them at the same time. Maybe a silly question to most, but I just don't know 🤣

Can't speak for the Mavic, but us with a DIY quad actually run a SD card in both the goggles and on the drone itself. The goggles view has all the overlays on it and is at a lower resolution than what is captured on the drone itself.

I can get perfect edges if I compromise on the center and if I want the clearest center, the edges suffer. Obviously we want the center looking the best, because that what we focus on for flying. I’ve stopped caring about the edges and think of them just like we do in real life. You can’t read with peripheral vision so why should we with these goggles on? With your normal eyesight if you look extremely to one side you see what you’re looking at with one eye and your nose with the other. So this is normal. Hey! I don't have a Mavic 3 to verify but I did see some reports where they were able to get the original Mavic remote working. Not sure how long it will take for DJI to patch that bypass though.

Cut the nose piece out, it helped me so much

Glad that worked for you, I suspect for me it would actually make the goggles more uncomfortable and cause pressure point on my nose where the nose area ends. I already feel a difference in that area between the Goggles 2 and Integra.

Yes that is true, there are other goggles with the SD card in the same spot and I haven't heard of any widespread issue with that positioning (such as the HDOs). Not ideal especially if you ever get a different face plate but I don't see this as a substantial issue.

Absolutely garbage . Returned my goggles 2 due to blurring. Usable fov is ridiculously small. Same problems on integra. I stay with my rc n2 and tripletek 9pro .

Blurry edges is a known problem and impacts the goggles 2 more due to its wider FOV. DJI went too small on the form factor and it makes it very difficult for the goggles to accommodate all face shapes. I haven't been able to get it perfect but I did have better experience using the upgrade foam padding from DJI. There are different pads made by iflight as well that some have had good experience with. Unfortunately it's all trial and error as it depends very much on face shape so what works well for me most likely won't work for you. Anyone that asks, I suggest they try these on before buying or at least buy from somewhere with a decent return policy.
