The idea of Alternates is such an interesting concept. I love the Mandela Catalogue so much. I love how the scare factor isn't from the screamer jumpscares all the time, but it's in the psychological factor to make us feel uncomfortable. These are my favourite types of horror.

Also an advice, if your kids said that they saw someone (like a ghost), don't ignore them cause most of the time, kids can see stuff that we can't see

when i was a kid, every day i would be playing and then boom, i’d be heard screaming. my mom would come ask what happened and i would tell her it was a ghost. she got scared because she believed me, this stuff happened in my family a lot, so we would just pray. however, it wasn’t always scary :) one time i was playing in a space nobody else was in and then i glanced over to the sofa and saw a lady there. she was kind of glowing, and soft, i knew she wasn’t in physical form but it wasn’t really making me scared, i just didn’t expect it of course. when i told my mom and grandma they had me draw a picture every single day for a week. and every day it was the same. it was my great grandma, and they knew that. i had never met her or seen a picture of her, but it had to be her.

Mandela Catalogues are a really good newer horror arg! If you’re interested in seeing more high quality content like this I’d totally recommend Gemini Home Entertainment, it’s a long watch but it also has a game with its lore!

I like how the Mandela catalogue stands out because its not like any other vhs video that goes unnerving image after jumpscare except it’s basically making the paranormal part absolutely disturbing

you should react to more videos of the mandela catalogue !! they're all so good , but they are pretty scary. especially the 1st one- but overall, great video! :D

heres a fun doppelganger story my brother told me about a few days ago: it was 3 am, my brother woke up in the middle of the night. (he sleeps in the same room with my other brother). the AC was turned off and he was confused, he thought that (the other brother) turned it off but he didnt, then my brother decided to turn on the AC since he was sweating lol. he then went downstairs and saw my other brother playing on the pc, and also.. my other brother was JUST upstairs sleeping. but then when he went downstairs.. my older brother was playing on the pc. he asked my other brother if he was gonna go to sleep yet. he said that he was about to after he finished his game, my brother just stayed with him until he went upstairs lol.. this was kinda short, also sorry if im bad at explaining lol. btw this situation happened a few years ago, my brother just told me about it days ago.

For anyone who’s confused on VOLUME ONE, here’s a basic sum up Alternates are beings that mimic other people, and tell them information they don’t want to know, which basically makes them kill themselves. A man named Mark Heathcliff was tricked by an alternate under the name of Cesar Torres, to coming to his house to turn on security cameras. As soon as he knows what’s going on, he immediately drives home, but the alternate follows him. He’s stuck in his room for days until he can’t take it anymore, and leaves. When the alternate comes in contact with him, he is told things he doesn’t want to know, then screams “YOU F**KING BASTARD” and shoots himself. If you have any questions, just reply to this comment

I’ve never heard of the Mandela catalogue until now, how interesting it is so far! I just watched up to the part where Cesar’s friend is in his room, I’m SCARED. This is not interesting anymore, this is freaking scary and creepy 😟 I seriously didn’t realize how creepy something could be Ok so I watched the whole thing and it wasn’t that bad, sure I may not be able to sleep tonight but it’s all good :). Also like the comment at the end said it’s all about the suspense, “you’re waiting for a jumpscare, but it never happens.” 🙃
