My opinion, Abba is just simply the best band IN THE WORLD I've been a massive fan since I was young and I can honestly say I love everything they have done, these 2 new tracks are a work of art

Layers, and production. Michael B Tretow, their engineer, was heavily inspired by Phil Spectors wall of sound and worked with ABBA in a similar way.

Shame about today's music. They just came to teach the young generation what music is all about.. Thank you ABBA.. Hats off

Perfect track, I still can't believe this is real. And like you say, those instruments, harmonies, only Abba can do magic like that. It's just pure, amazing pop music !!!

Hej I agree with you we need some positive things in life in these difficult times, Abba spreads hope and love in life take care.

The chorus could almost be a message directly to the fans I'm not the one you knew I'm now & then combined I'm asking you to have an open mind You asked my not to leave Well here I am again I had tears in my eyes when i heard this song

This is my clear favorite of the two new singles. This song could have fit right in on one of their albums from 1979/1980.

Major Dancing Queen mets Our Last Summer vibes with this one.

Abba back and as good as ever. It IS emotional. Abba fans have been waiting for this for 40 years. Since 2018 when new releases were mooted the expectation was there. I'm an old cynic and I get emotional. I remember watching them win Euro vision in '74. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This song is so beautiful so uplifting so full of hope, so full of smiles omg...it's so full of happiness!!! I love ABBA, hope they continue and never stop please! We need more of this in the world, we need their magic, their music, their story telling, their sould, their feelings!!

I got emotional as well. It's just like you said, brought that old mood back to a new generation like yourself. But I lived their heydays and it's even more exciting now!

They are releasing an album of 10 tracks in early November this year (including these two newly released tracks).

Sure, I may be biased, but ABBA's comeback is absolutely amazingly magical! Maybe that's what the world needs these days, to bring back happy memories so we can take that feeling forward. Greetings from Sweden!

The lyrics are so cinematic, evokes such a clear imagery, that even a lyric video feels like a music video

"Almost 80" is a bit of a reach? Early 70's is better.

When you can come back after 40 years with new music and the worlds is loving it. They are icons

I can remember the ABBA of my childhood, so I guess you'd expect someone my age to dig this song - and I do ("yeah, OK X-er"). But to see you, a generation or three on from me, radiating total joy at this music - that's a beautiful thing. :)

Wow. To me, it's a song about coming back to an old love as a more mature, experienced person ready to be together for real. ABBA is masterful.

The way you felt is the way most of us felt in the 1970s when Abba brought out a new song.. It reminds me of that time which was magical

Only ABBA music can make you happy joyfully no teary all at the same time. Can’t wait for their album

So trademark Abba, it's unbelievable after 40 yrs they sound like yesterday. It's a story of past vs present and is beautifully done.....We needed this at this time of pandemic pandemonium. Had tears listening to this iconic groups 2 new releases, it brought back a flood of memories.

I can't stop listening to this song all day!! Love it, and so grateful that are ABBA back for a new generation to enjoy. I've already pre-ordered the album and really hope I can get to the live show next year!!

I am in my mid 50's and I grew up with Abba music and yes I can say, their music became a important part of my life.When learning that ABBA is going to release new music I was sceptical and afraid, they are going to destroy their legacy and might embarrass themselves like many music legends have been doing by forcely trying to catch up with the current music. So when I heard this song for the first time, all my worries were gone in an instant. Yes, the voices are more mature now and You can tell they are older. But they are not trying to hide it. They manage to transform their typical musical style into present and combine it with all of their life experiences. The "story telling" lyrics immediately created a "mind movie" and took me on a very emotional journey with a lot of tears involved. Thank You for the Music ABBA....

This is my definite fave of the 2 new songs although I Still Have Faith In You is truly excellent as as emotional. Love your review and I can say that I have been so emotional since the release last Thursday. I have actually stood at the Melbourne Town Hall Portico with my own band members in the same spot where Abba stood in 1977!
