I'm a 52 year old guy that doesn't show emotion but ABBAS two new songs broke me into tears. Pushed a hidden button deep in my soul.

What Milly said about the music industry dying. She is so accurate. Yes, the items that are played on the radio are music, but, there haven't really been any true songs on the radio since Weird Al's Running with Scissors. Some of the country music is good, but ABBA's two new pieces have been so impactful in lyric composition and instrumental layout, that I have seen more than a half dozen people start crying when upon first hearing the songs in these react videos. I responded to one of the first reaction videos to this song with (paraphrased) 'They're producing actual music.' Someone responded with what do you call the other things on the radio? Milly summed it, nicely. Besides, the first time I heard As Good As New in 79 and The Visitors (the song) in 81, I cried. Those two songs were beyond remarkable.

@@cannedmusic the constant chameleon adaptation of Lady Gaga is like the rare exception to the mass copy/paste music now... And she has paid a heavy price several times for daring to break with convention, Hell her short film/video for G.U.Y. quite bluntly depicts what she went thru over her ARTPOP journey. There are the other occasional Singer/songwriter out there of brilliance and genius, but one has to truly think about it now. At least in the 90s we still had some brilliance out there, but by 2020 the soul is gone as a whole. And to think I grew up in the 60s and 70s and went out in to the world in the 80s. These four will be inspiring millions of new dreams, Universe willing. If they can do it in their 70s, what excuse does anyone else have now? COntrast the brilliance of this quartet that is ABBA with the astronomic rise of Måneskin after winning EUrovision this year, being on Fallon last night and OPENING FOR THE ROLLING STONES. One elder brilliant group, and a new one. Ironically both have hit songs called, I KID YOU NOT, "Mamma Mia" HAHAAHAHAA THe irony is just hilarious.

That is ABBA magic... Since I was 3 years old... I'm a man, but this is wonderful...is not so sad, but it get in to you. tears of joy. Lyrics are amazing. Agnetha is too. Also listen the song with Gary Barlow "i've should follow you home"

I'm a 59 year old guy loved ABBA since I was 12 I cried buckets when I first heard this song its normal for us fans. Tears of joy 😂🥲❤♥

I am a songwriter. I cried too hearing this music. It re connected me to my childhood,my spirit,my home. It makes me want to write again, pray , feel alive again. Just absolutely delicious!

I think this is a love song from ABBA to their fans; especially their long-time fans who were with them from the start. The world has been yearning for more ABBA for 40 years and they kept refusing, but now they've returned and are hoping we'll still love them even though they (and we) have changed so much. I have no doubt the entire world will embrace them as though they never left, forever grateful for the musical gifts they gave -- then and now. ABBA has always had the power to change the world, and they are now again wielding that power!

This song made a lot of us ABBA fans very emotional. It'd been so long...I just never expected anything this good!

Don't worry about getting emotional. It is the only appropriate response. I also got emotional when I heard this, and I listen to metal most of the time. But ABBA was my first love, back in my childhood, and it is very bittersweet when I think about it. It is a miracle that they came out of retirement after all these years, and this new album is most certainly their final encore before retiring once again. ABBA is a wonderful treasure.

Their new songs are melancholy, sensational, magical and completely unreal wonderful. I myself am 60 years old and have been there from the beginning. They were unique when they made an impact and that keeps them. I still have all their LP and cassettes at my old turntable from that time. Legends never stop singing. ABBA has conquered the world again!! Imagine if everyone could preserve this warm feeling we feel at this moment and take it with us in our harsh world. Greetings from Sweden!

They hijacked everything, the music, the food, schools, sports, politics, etc...

I only heard the new songs for the first time today as well, and my eyes still water. Expecting more like a Whitney Houston come-back I was sooo happily surprised. The very first vinyl single I bought was "I do, I do, I do...", so Abba was there for nearly my whole life (I'm 58). Glad younger people also experience this strange happy/sad mixture that Abba can trigger.

I'm SO glad you said you are sharing it because you "can't enjoy it alone". I feel exactly the same. The song is fantastic..! I've been a fan of ABBA since the 1970s.

The harmonies of Agnetha and Frida's voices gets me every time I hear this song.

You react the same way I did hearing this tune. Tears went down me chin. The fact ABBA is back, the fact they have matured his way, the fact this is not just a pop song, but lyrics that sends you across so many years assuring you, it will all be better from here and on. I cried, and yes I am a man.

I have examined quite a lot of videos , such as yours by now, so I know it is so. And as you say " …they're coming back even better", yes indeed . Somebody also said it is The Comeback of the Century, yes indeeed. I am 76 and was there when they started spreading the lovely soul stirring harmonious melodies. you should never have to apologize for being emotional/ thats what music does to you. i am in my 60s and when i heard both these 2 new songs i cried like a baby. it was like seeing and old friend or relative that i havent seen in 40 yrs. i have been a super fan since 1974 and never thought this oculd be possible. ABBA gave us a tremendous gift just when the world needs them the most. having them back is the comeback of the century. i mean who does gets back together after all this time?? The truth is two or three generations have been starved of lyrics, melodies and songs because the music industry sold out to rap and hip-hop. Now when they hear the real thing it hits them like it hit us, every week, every record release day. Music should be a positive and fill you with emotion and joy. Dear Milly, I totaly understand your emotion and reaction. This song proofs that Bjorn and Benny are top songwriters, Frida en Agneta are top singers and together they achived a top production. Starting in the seventies they show us now how good they where and how good they still are. And above that, how small the change of anyone ever topping this quality of music. It’s so emotional because the song has so much melancholy about loving someone across time, and this resonates with the fact we’ve missed Abba for so long. How can you not cry? I was a kid in the 70s who loved Abba, and into the 80s when it was considered passe, which bothered me. You comment about how you lament the music industry for not having music like this anymore. It’s similar to my sadness when Abba was being "shut down." Loved your reaction. 💕 Darn if you didn’t make me cry again.

Oh you poor kiddo, you don’t know how it was ! I was 11 when I saw them win Eurovision, and was deeply sad when they split up around my 19th birthday. Their music was an essential part of me during the most important part of my youth. It was intense : no distractions from phones, computers, internet, anything digital. There was just you, your friends and music … Today’s youth just can’t imagine that life. (Talking for an entire generation here .)

We live in a world that is too pragmatic. A world in which sometimes (for some of us) emotions reveal the good part of the soul. And so, we cry. Maybe, crying, we are not strong enough, but we have something inside that can never be taken away from us. A big heart. On the other hand, seeing your reaction, the reactions of many young people, but also the comments here, I realize to see how many we are. And I really think it's a good sign if we hope every day for a better world ...

Imagine the feelings of the members singing this letters, wooh. Really they make also a good example of be reloaded in alls aspects, be always in a dream of recharge harmony, strong and continuous enjoying the life through the years. Are a great example.

70 year old musicians are coming back to 2021 after 40 years and will bring fans and grandchildren into emotional chaos! :-) Respect ABBA respect !!

@@MillysThoughts the sound engineer who worked with ABBA Michael B. Tretow once said that he once said that he worked with many artists but if ABBA were in the studio it would have been like magic! I guess the whole process was like this, everyone knew what to do at that moment. Mister Spock would say "Fascinating" :-)

This song itself is just brilliant, ofcourse emotional. I was 16 when they won the Eurovision Song Contest in the 70's!!! xx

The world cried out for something magical and ABBA delivered in a way that only they can They are Pop Royalty and no other group comes anywhere near to their musical talent and genius ❤

Milly darling, you are among a huge crowd of reactors who are all emotionall y blown away, and not a few of them were brought to tears. THAT IS HOW POWERFUL THIS SONG IS> THose lyrics can apply to Agnetha's story, but they are actually TIMELESS, and frankly I will be shocked if this isnt used in films and TV.

Don't apologize for getting emotional. ABBA getting back together is a perfect reason to feel all sorts of emotions. Especially due to their sounding like they haven't missed a beat. I mean 40 years later and they sound this good?!

Sorry for emotions?? NO! This is what good music is SUPPOSED to do for us! It is just now so rare, that when it actually happens, we find it a struggle to handle.. ABBA and their songs have been doing this since the beginning... They are now, again, showing the music industry HOW it is done! Comeback of this Century, just in time to save 2021! :)

Hey, so many people around the world are crying so you are certainly not alone. Tears are there to give relief, please don't hold them in, they need to move out so the feelings can move through you without getting stuck. It's part of being human. Crying is good for you. 🥰🙏 Thanks for reacting! I don't know if you ever checked out acapella music, the new type of acapella. I highly recommend a band called Home Free, the world's only country acapella band. Their sound off completely unique and ABBA is the reason why I love them. ABBA gave me my love for tight harmonies and complex arrangements, and Home Free deepened it. You will have your mind blown away. They do mostly covers, but not like you're used to hearing it, but also originals and they have well over 150 music videos on their channel. Whichever sing you pick you can't go wrong! They've got talent oozing out of their every cell and they create magic together. Just like ABBA. 🥰🙏 😁

Wow I love home free too, I reacted to some of their videos in the past but their songs is mostly always copyrighted and blocked by KZread. I will keep reacting to them again. Thanks so much for watching Carina

@@MillysThoughts They are on their own label since the last couple of years, so the videos and songs released since June 2019 don't get blocked. I've only heard of one or two that have and there's a lot of reactors reacting to their songs. If you haven't heard their songs in their last year you'll have plenty to react to since they have been releasing two music videos every month since April last year. 😁 I'm here for it and the Home Fries will turn up if you do react to them again. 😁🥰💃🙏

I once saw ABBA on tour...in Boston 10/3/79...they're STILL INCREDIBLE!!!

Even men cried when they heard that song.

These songs are so moving; it’s the return of melody, lyric and ❤️. It needs to be played in the dance clubs; that’s after we bring club / night life back into society.

hello milly, I grew up listening to abba when they won the eurovision song contest in 1974 with waterloo, they had a song before that called ring ring which I loved, you have to listen to all abbas songs really, some will have you in a torrent of tears this is what there music does but some like gimme gimme gimme, voulez vous, dancing queen the list is endless they have that magic that can either make you sob your heart out or dance till you drop, this is true music by masters todays music is nothing compared to this
