I’m a bit biased as a Sharks fan but Eklund only at #11 seems wild. He had 45 points in 80 games in his rookie season with basically zero help. In his last 14 games of the season he had 15 points. I feel like other people are going to be mindblown when this kid blows up soon but it’s quite easy to see how much he stands out on that Sharks roster.

@@jasonanderson5034 You're the one who is totally delusional. You sound like an envious 16 year old kid. Everyone in hockey circles thinks Mailloux will definitely make it to the show. Not sure if he's Top 15 of 2021 draft but anyone who believes he shouldn't be ranked in Top 32 doesn't knows much about hockey. He had a great year in the AHL and he is trending in a very positive manner. As for personality issues, he has been a model person since his incident which happened when he was still a 17 year old kid. By all accounts, Mailloux is a decent guy and very well liked by his teammates. He has done everything that was asked of him and its weird to hear another kid like yourself (you are obviously quite young based on your inane remark) criticize a guy's personality when he has done everything in his power to rehabilitate himself as well as possible. At what point do you and the other holier than-thou types stop throwing rocks at this guy? I'm 100% certain that you have already made all sorts of mistakes in your life so unless you can prove you're perfect you should zip it as far Mailloux is concerned. @@claudelemay3912 I see what you are saying, but I prefer our problem. 1) I am looking at us once we are good enough for the playoffs, I prefer Anderson in the playoffs. 2) Marner's contract is so much longer & double the price.

I would have rated izak rosen higher. He’s been a rock solid contributor for the Rochester Americans for two seasons and proved himself with ever changing line mates. He will be a very dependable nhl’r this year hopefully for the sabres who drafted him but the logjam of nhl ready prospects in buffalo may complicate things. Buffalos prospect pool not only includes 5 nhl ready first rounders but several guys that were second and later round players who have developed way higher than their draft position.

I like power but he needs to get tougher. He's huge but gets pushed off the puck so easy by guys half his size. Like he needs actual power not just finesse. Hopefully Lindy gets him playing tough.

Yes he’s pretty young he’s very similar to hedman ! Hedman is not the very physical too but power is pretty young remind you how dahlin was in his couple first season he was not physical and now he’s a beast and he will be more and more stronger with the age power will be stronger too when he will adapt to his size and take a couple more weight to his frame
