IDK if anyone pointed it out but the version of Poptropica that you can play online now is like... a shell of the old game. Like, Mythology island is 1/2 what it used to be at best. Literally. Probably half of the content of the island is no longer there. Not to mention they got rid of some of the best islands? For anyone who can I suggest you play the OG version on flashpoint or something and you'll see it is an S tier game I swear.

Yes but he plays the new poptropica. You van download old poptropica with all the old maps in original form. The devs made all the left over island worse. The mythology one they removed a bunch of content and made it significantly easier

These types of games have just moved to the app store. They're just filled with microtransactions now because it's easier to monetize an app than it was to monetize a Flash game

Pirate Software is honestly great. I love how he's just seemingly everywhere.

I used to play Poptropica every single time I had a chance. If I had free time and anything that could access the internet was near by, I was on that shit. That game had a grip on my soul no woman could ever hope to have.

It's a shame you didn't do stick rpg 2. It's crazy how well developed it is

My old friends dad did a lot of the coding for Poptropica back in the day. I saw his dad’s office and he had cardboard cutouts of his favorite characters. He was doing very well for himself financially lol

Nothing will ever beat Poptropica. That game is an easy S tier. The amount of time I’ve spent playing that game, honestly I need to go back and finish playing the science fair island

Poptropica was such a fun game I remember going and watching the tutorials on the island. The best islands was easily the Wild West One or the Movie Theater one, but all the islands were really fun.

It's so weird to me that Ludwig, big time foddian games fan, doesn't enjoy the impossible quiz. I feel like it's the exact same concept of a purposefully obtuse gameplay cycle that punishes mistakes harshly, but progress is rewarding (in this case with funny new questions) and you get the satisfaction of completing something that took a lot of effort at the end.

Poptropica in A tier is the biggest crime so far in 2024. Easy S tier.

As a zoomer I can confirm we also had flash games when I was a kid. Tablets and angry birds and such kinda started to roll out halfway through my childhood, but in the beginning it was flash games all the way.

I can totally relate to your nostalgia for old-school browser games. It's fascinating how you ranked these games and brought back such good memories.

i remember playing duck life and using cheat engine to give myself unlimited money and food making a giga duck really early. that was much objectively much more interesting that whatever lesson i was supposed to be paying attention to and even looking back on it now im glad i made the productive choice

My memories from trying to hopelessly beat Astroknights in Poptropica as a kid alone make that game A-S tier. It was such a good game for kids. My sister and I had a ton of fun with it.

These game’s genuinely shaped my childhood and I’m really glad to be seeing them again, especially stick RPG and interactive buddy i spent hours upon hours in those games

If Ludwig played some of those other Poptropica maps he would’ve found it sufficiently difficult if my memory is right. Either that or I was just ass as a kid

Poptropica was my favorite game 10 years ago. Got me started on video games. Too bad it's only gotten worse over the years. Plus, my account got deleted due to inactivity ;-;

Ludwig is really getting older day by day. You can notice it in his laughs and his energy he is much more chill these days

i have so much respect for the editor for this video they had to cut out SO MUCH content from the stick RPG gameplay (especially from roulette) like my man rly liked that game....

Stick rpg 1 and 2 and the bloons series will forever be the best entertainment a kid could have back then.

I love the Papa's games, especially Papa's Freezeria Deluxe which I'm addicted to. I so hope they do more deluxe versions because they just take a good game and make it even better

Wish mutilate a doll simulator 2 was on the list. i showed my mom the game cause i didn't know what "mutilate" meant and she got mad at me.

What a throwback. LOVED Stick RPG, that with Motherload and Chicken Jockey were my childhood haha

Lud, I'm turning 29 next month and I want another youtube vid/casual stream from you on this topic. I loved this.

The only ones I’ve played here were Poptropica, the Google Dinosaur game, and Raft Wars (probably my favorite of the three). Most of the flash games I played as a kid were the ones on the Disney, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network websites. I also played a lot of games on Miniclip and Nitrome.

I am feeling powerful and intense waves of nostalgia, like I’m gaining back what was lost to time, I thank you

Street mobster, underworld gangster and sword and sandals were my go to web games.
