I actually enjoy packing. The only thing I don't like about reselling is listing stuff. Thanks for watching!
Great video, I always tend to list the hardest to list stuff first. Make the rest seem extremely easy and you end up listing alot more through the day.

Just subbed enjoying these it was a good tip to list everyday but Sunday is by far the best day to list items or for auctions to finish on just because most people are off work
great vid, I have started reselling myself inspired by you and a few other resellers, the info you offer is very helpful, thanks and keep it up. i bought a jayden's Bluetooth thermal printer its been invaluable and a real time saver. I got it of amazon.
Great video I’ve recently subscribed 😊 thank you for sharing your day and tips on packaging and planning your day - I’m all over the place daily so need to be better organised 😅
New subscriber, thank you for the tips on packaging there were very useful 👍As a buyer and a seller on Ebay I do appreciate sellers like yourself who take care when packaging items to send, I usually save the seller! Good luck full time Tom, will keep watching 🙂

@TOMS_TAT That's good. Would be cool to see your gaming setup too.
You had some great ideas for shipping but one thing I find for me is that bubble wrapped envelopes work so much better for shipping out for speed in packing them up too especially for dvds and games in that those type cases. They tend to be pretty durable already so they don't really need the extra padding unless they are going to a place where they are extra hard on shipping packages. I find for cds and cassettes that I have these acid free bags that help protect them from getting scratched in the mailers. For higher end items I tend to take cardboard and wrap it around it to make sure that it's more protected. I've seen people sometimes use 2 bubble wrap envelopes as well for higher end items too which really protect them. For shipping labels until I get a thermal printer i'm just using my laser printer and printing up the labels and taping them on. I may get a thermal printer in time though to make it quicker.

I’m generally scheduled 3 weeks ahead. It takes a lot of work to initially build up…but it gives you a massive breathing space if you have some days that you can’t lost or have other commitments. It also helps with eBay since the algorithms see the consistency. I have had childcare and other stuff going on for past few weeks and have literally just been shipping…but it’s so good not worrying about having to also do listing. I have to get the scheduled listings built up again now…but I also always have a draft bank constantly on the go.

Good vlog this bud. Quite a bit to this game. You got a good routine though to handle it.
I have learned a lot, cheers
Very interesting. I have started doing this, not on ebay but mostly buying games and taking them to gaming markets as I feel it might work out better as with ebay they take 12% on games. (I read this on the site) I'd rather pay a fixed fee and take all my games to the market and see what return I can get which worked out very lucrative. However this is interesting Tom. Good luck with it.
That always happens . Go to the drop off point of post office. Then get payments through or a new sale. But like you said just have to lump it into next days post run

great video i am in the same boat as you pal been doing ebay part time for 20 years so decided to take the plunge and do it full time now for past six months I up graded my shop from basic to feature started with 70 items now on 800 items people think its easy but far from it but its nice to have the freedom of what hours you want to work etc always nice to see another perspective of how people source their items and work they way to ebay. i still would of thought an carpenter would earn top dollar and would not want to go near ebay lol ;)

I was in the motor trade 20+ years and just wanted out I was on good money as well but just wanted to be happy at the end of the day as the trade has changed a fair bit. Also i wanted to cut down on the hours i work at the same time. its a great learning experience what you can find in the shops and what stuff is worth. already having experience on ebay helped as well as its changed a hell of a lot from when i 1st started selling back in the early 00s keep up the good work ;)
Great videos, thanks a lot
I've had maybe 15 sales this month, 9 of those were people who made offers, I accepted, they didn't pay and I had to cancel. August has just been odd!
Nice packing!!

I was considering downgrading my job to PRN just so I can have my taxes take a lot out and not worry about the ebay taxes. That was my issue last year with the stock market. I made too much money and the taxes were annoying.
Anther little tip is as you know bubble wrap is pricey so to keep costs down use newspapers , just take a page roll it into a lose ball sorted , ideal to plug gaps so stuff don't move around .. ask in local shops that sell newspapers "next day" the papers out of date so they cant sell it so 9 times out of 10 there give you the papers ..

I get flyers for free every week .. and I use them as well,
I bought a VRETTI Thermal Label Printer 4x6 they are less than £100. The labels they take are the ones that the royal mail give out for free if you have a trade account. i dont have a trade account so i have to pay for mine but ebay postage is cheaper than stamps but havent yet saved more than the printer cost over a couple of years. I also have a brother ql-560 which is a 62mm printer but that will not print a postage label..
Zebra label printer, you maybe put off by the price but trust me, the best buy you'll ever make
Get a Munbyn label printer, it’s a game changer :)
Cool video ive just subscribed.I do occasionally sell on ebay but ive stopped printing my own lavels and just write on parcel/package as i find it to much hastle with weight for postage etc,so i just take to post office get it weighed there, you get a rough idea anyway.🙂

Just a tip, write the serial numbers of console and handhelds down in a spreadsheet. If there is an issue with one of them, you can check if it's indeed your sold item. And not a crappy one they had to scam you with. Same for laptops or other things with a serial number. And I always make pictures of the packages, so I can proof that it was packaged well if there are any issues.

From watching loads of these reseller videos I’ve discovered that most of you will do anything to avoid listing! There’s just too many variables and not enough structure and security not to mention all the time wasted and frustration when people don’t pay.
