For real. Imagine being upset because a grown man is just vlogging online. He has attention, and an audience, doing this stuff. The people criticizing you, they do not. If it’s not against your company, or in your case jurisdiction , I completely understand people making videos about it. Mr. Q, I respect that you didn’t take the low road and trash talk your department even though some of them sound like that would have been fair. Thank you for sharing your story. After 13 years in LE I find myself with the hard decision that I need to exit. New leadership has made it clear that family is not their priority. I like my job description but the LE schedule is hard on my family. Do you personally know or can you refer me to any articles about what other careers I could use my LE skills towards? I’m nervous that LE is all I’ve done for 13 years so it’d be nice to find something that uses those skill sets. Thank you sir, great video!

You could try being a PMC. There's a lot of different type of trained individuals working in private military companies, like LE, military, and even civilian workers. PMCs also generally pay more and theres less bs leadership.

He spent time in the academy and field training and counted that as “experience” and now people are looking at him as the gold standard for advice on law enforcement when he barely had his training wheels off before quitting…

I bless you Mr. Johnny for being honest, and brave of why you quit, and I bless you for sharing your situation (story). I’m studying personal finance and doing pushups for bodybuilding because of a situation that happened to me 6 years ago which didn’t make sense to me and makes me angry, but now I’m doing better. He tries to make the claim that he had 2 years of experience. But he counts his academy time and his FTO time as “experience” then people portray him as the gold standard for law enforcement advice… realistically he had less than a year of “on his own” time. Just take a look at his videos. He offers “advice” on certain products, but the moment another company pays him he changes his advice to match what his sponsors say.

Hey brother, you done good. Much success to you. From one retired LE to another. I’m surprised you got so much hate. They hated you because you had a vision. A goal outside of the PD. I’m old enough where you can be my son. I always try to advise the guys that are “on” that while in the PD, they should attempt to prepare for the real world, outside the PD when they retire. I know plenty that when they retired they either do nothing substantive with their lives, ( in my opinion, and believe me these guys are talented in many ways) or they just work at Home Depot. You done good to prepare. You did it a lot sooner than a lot of smart/driven cops out there. All the best. As someone who has never had love for police officers, I appreciate this video. This is the most emotion i've seen and the most transparency. I think the general public should appreciate stuff like this because it humanizes that job and too often, a lot of us don't ever get that side. Its cool to be human and not a robot. Much respect for being so transparent and being classy about it all. I believe we can all learn from each other so that is what im here for.

Johnny, As a channel owner myself I think it’s inevitable that eventually I’ll need to quit my current job too. I’m just a tiny channel right now still learning how to walk. So I can fly under the radar. But as I walk and begin to run and the channel gains meaningful growth it’ll be a little more difficult too hide haha. And let me tell you this. Even as a tiny channel I’ve gotten a good deal of hate my way that caused me to be very sad and depressed and give up. Had it not been for my core audience helping me through that and realize that I just need tough skin I don’t think I would have gone further. But my true supporters won’t let me quit. Haha I’ve followed you for a while here in KZread man. Just never really commented before. Your work is awesome! I got a trick for you if you’re up for it . Go through basic training to be a MP in the military reserves and then join the LEO’s outside. You’ll be pretty much set for life if you ride out the reserves and do your 20 years. Be safe out there man 🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

Hey man, the reason why cops (including myself) were giving him such a hard time is because this job isn’t about being boastful. We see tik tok cops as someone who is using their badge as a way to gain likes. Granted, this guy already had the likes and followers but you get my point. Also, he is a NEW cop already trying to tell people what do wear, buy, do when he hasn’t even been a cop long. Long story short, this guy was worrying about his KZread career more than his career. That’s why cops hated him.

4:39 this sucks, I used to get off work and you would post a KZread short every other day answering a question. It was fun to watch. Became a little hobby for me. It’s like any personal “how to” questions answered by a police officer. But hey, it’s just a BB gun.

Former LEO here. I was with Volusia county sheriff's department, did it, tried it. Now I'm a chef. Less stressful, more pay. It's been 11 years since I was a cop don't regret changing course.
