Love it man great job, it's amazing what a good set of balanced stix can do. Most people that buy these common rail Cummins seem to avoid doing injectors. I know it's expensive but it's cheaper than a melted piston, or a crank inspection window. Good work man, and you are lucky to have a great family! God bless!

BRO! Did your truck go in and out of 3rd and 4th back to back before you put in the new governor pressure sensor/solenoid ??? Mine is doing that it’s an 06 5.9 4wd w/ auto trans and it’s acting up… going from 3rd to 4th then back to 3rd then back to 4th back to back to back… doesn’t know which gear it wants and I’ve got the smarty touch, thank you for the video on the tuners this one is PERFECT FOR ME, ANYWAYS lol I need your help/advice please did your truck do that before the replacement of that solenoid/sensor and mine is saying overdrive off on the dash when it down shifts itself into 3rd… 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ PLZ HELP!

Mine did not do that. But it sounds like it could be a governor pressure solenoid. Honestly tho. I would save for a built trans. It's really worth it.

Okay thanks man, I planned on replacing it with the same upgrade you did on yours hopefully it fixed it, if not then new trans I guess? Just bought it 4 weeks ago, it has a brand new overdrive unit on the rear of the trans and a brand new transfer case as well. The trans pan gasket leaks and so does two of the lines going to and from the trans have leaks in them… might be the issue? If it can’t build the pressure needed because of the leaks and that solenoid then that might be the issue lol but I’ll be replacing all that this Thursday 👍👍

@@LMDiesel I got it for a steal of a deal so I can’t complain too much about the issues I guess lol $6k for a mega cab 06 5.9 auto trans Laramie with sunroof fully loaded full center console n all has the tan interior also interior is flawless but bed wheel wells are rusted on it, other than that man it is pretty clean n well taken care of, doesn’t leak a drop of oil, besides the trans issue it’s been reliable 🤷‍♂️😅 it’s bone stock besides my smarty I have on it, zero blow by ! But ya man thanks for the advice, love the videos man!!

@LMDiesel I need help connecting the actuator color wires for the transfer case Gear selector I have a 05 ram 3500drw I’ve been trying to look for the color combination of the eight pin plug that connects to the actuator or selector for the transfer case and can’t find it the only combination that I’m finding or pinout are the ones with a lot of colors like yellow, red and purple, etc., and the ones that are coming out of my wire harness are light colors like one yellow, and the rest like white and brown or white and green I just installed a new transmission is a 48Re In my area, there’s not a lot of diesel mechanic and can’t find this on Google or KZread. I would definitely appreciate if anybody from the Diesel community give me a hand.
