Can you test the absolute max range again and update the post. Like, count out the distance to your lapel mic so that when the drone noise cuts out and back in you will have the distanced marked by your voice?

I have just ordered from DJI the DJI Single MIC 1 TX + 1 RX however I will not be attaching it to my DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone lol, on my wild camping adventures; that is why we have you, exploring such possibilities lol. Great video and love the sense of humour. Liked and Subscribed

@@mekolines8781 luckily it’s easy enough to edit sounds from an external mic if you wanna use a drone for vlogging (what I don’t know why you would lol) or editing music over it

I hear my mini 4 pro for 200 meters away, even when not accelerating. So i doubt the 5 meter nylon chord will make much difference.

How might this setup be accomplished with the DJI Goggles instead of the RC remote?

I see alot of peple asking what kinda mic to use,..i was bought the dji mic 2 aswell aka 349 €,..but if u simply want to screenrecord with ur voice in it Aliexpress the wireless WM-10 stick it in your RC 2 & start record abd the price is around 11/12 dollar/euro,..your all WELCOME

Can you try it again? This time , put the drone near traffic or a river or a crowd - That way we know what kind of recording is possible

Can't you just completely remove the drone prop noise in post editing? And keep the audio from the mic?

I find that very unlikely

I don't understand why people still think audio is a good idea on a drone, but you have demonstrated to them perfectly as to why it is not needed or useful, it will simply drown everything else out and require much more work in post and even then audio would be messed up, the mic works great though so kudos for that, never realised it was a standalone recorder as well, handy feature to have

Dji should build the receiver into each and every product so we only need the wireless mics

Why can't the app just use the phone mic?

The usb-c transmitter and receiver I put into my rc controller to do audio was $14 delivered from ali express and sounds fine

During this years Copenhell festival in Copenhagen, the Cops actually came and berated me for "stealing poor performers art". They even confiscated my drone, told me to prepare for a day in Court, a fine and not getting my drone back. Only later did I fathom, that they actually thought I was recording the music with my drone. Fortunately, somebody with a brain reviewed the footage & flightlog and saw that I had done absolutely nothing wrong, so they delivered my drone back to me about 1 hour later. I would have made a stink about it, but 2 of the 3 Officers were actually really nice. Only one had to play Judge Dredd and watching him be grumpy about not nailing me was satisfaction enough 😄.

It looks like the cheaper one doesn't include a charging case either, so perhaps for £100 more, it's not too bad a price getting the higher-priced one

Show the drone can't really record useful audio, but shows the connection was fine even beyond 250m

@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Dude, If you pull a light string from a drone, 5 meters long maybe, and hang a mic that way, you could eliminate the propeler noise in postprocesing.
