Your Tahoe looks great brother. I'm with you on the Escalade third brake light but everyone has one and I was thinking of doing the 07 to 14 Tahoe light myself to be different. Then I come across your videos. Thanks man

You are correct. I put that one on a few years back. Then swapped it out for the 07-14 style.

So you used screws to mount the spoiler to the glass but how and where did you screw them into on the spoiler? Did you just screw into the plastic and how long are those screws?

How much did you cut on the side? Or were did you cut it from? I fit tested mine and there is a big gap on the side wondering how much was taken off

plug and play? or what harness did you use for 07-14?

Hey how did you get rid of the gap at the bottom of the 3rd brake light gap between it and the glass, did you have to trim the plastic underneath to get a tight fit?

What kinda screws did you use to mount it?

Would i be able to donthe same with a 07-13 escalade third light?

Yes you would. There’s a few that’s been done that are floating around. Same exact concept would apply to that brakelight aswell 😎🤘🏽

That's nice good job but it would have been more easier to just swap out the Tahoe back window for a Escalade window 💪🏾💯⬆️

Did you add any double side 3m tape or is it only secure with the 3 botls?

I put 3M double sided tape across the very top just for peace of mind. But the three stainless screws with washers secure it fairly snug to the glass alone.

the third brake has two screws that go to the glass hinge, how can it be installed

How hard was it to swap to the cadi brake light?

Any clearance issues when open the hatch?

Yea I think it need to be Escalade glass because it’s a solid glass , Tahoe is cutout n rounded

From my understanding, yes. Because it has to have the three holes on the glass itself so you can put the screws through to secure it.

I am doing the same set up as you got where did you trim your brake light to To fit the glass can you help me sir

I got all of the stuff to do it but I have been busy at work they got me out of town work I am finishing work in vail co this week then I am going to do my brake light and my hd hood thanks a lot for responding back

it honestly wasn't too much off the sides and a little off the backside my man. Mainly on the lower portion where it meets the rubber on the back glass. I wish i would have got video of that, but i just got wrapped up in the project nearing completion.

No buddy, had to use those three stainless screws with washers and some 3M tape along the top.

@@SergioIraheta90 you would be correct my brother. Had to use the Esky glass for the pre-existing holes. But had to use stainless screws to screw into the plastic to secure it to the glass.
