Nah. Look what happened to Mariusz Pudzianowski, 5x WSM tried MMA and had very limited success. He was able to beat a few bums, but never got legitimately good; same thing with Eddie. If you haven't boxed your whole life, you will never be seriously good

Watch the drills he's practicing. Ribs ribs, head, roll away. Ribs ribs head roll away. I think the fight is a farce and they're both children but I honestly think thor is going down first exchange. His guard is shit and will open up after a few blows like that at ideal height for Eddie, then Eddie is gonna hit him up on his chin and he's down and hopefully not super hurt.

My personal bet is they'll sprint at each other, both swing a wild punch to the jaw and both go down like a sack of spuds. If not, then first clean hit is the winner
I would have to be inside a car before I'd let Eddie hit me.
Eddie taking punches reminds me of that episode of The Simpsons when the find out Homer can take any punch, hopefully it won't end up the same with him developing a deadly medical issue and having to be flown out of his big fight by Brian Shaw on a jet pack.

Thor's stamina always has been miles ahead.During strongman days Thor almost never appear to be out of breath while Eddie needed ambulance almost after every speed event lol Thor is the one who looks more and more scary of these two.Thor trains cardio like a madman and is lean as f while Eddie not so much

I've had a 'dead arm competition ' with mtb trials rider Damon Watson (his videos are on youtube), he can bench +200kg...straight in the arm no padding and i'm 50kg body weight 🤣
I might get crucified for pointing it out but, Eddie's last right hook was quite off, Eddie positioned badly and his hand remained in a very open position placing the force outwards rather than behind the wrist, thus losing a good percentage of the power behing it.

It's because he was punching from the side. Eddie said if he punched straight on, it would be way worse for Ryan. Because he could put his weight behind it. He wasn't trying to hurt Ryan.

@@henryginn7490 Eddie doesn't show his real boxing. Most of his videos are just cardio. We have never seen him really boxing since he started training.
If Eddie manages to get decently good at boxing, while keeping a lot of his strongman strength. I'll cry tears of awesomeness, while being scare to ever visit the UK.

As far as I have heard/ read he could street fight, but now he is being trained for a am amateur boxing match/exhibition. Who cares about who is more skilled? @Mer Der im a boxer and your not buddy .. technic and speed is what makes a punch deadly .. go see any big time knockout artist boxer and check their training i guarantee you none of them do any big lifting that eddie does .. theres a 30min video of GGG endurence and strenght training and he doesnt lift one single weight and hes a powerful puncher , many claim he punch harder than heavyweights cuz he used to spar with them .. and before you say anything yes i lift weights im 6ft1 210lbs and would knock the lights out of you just come to my gym
