DAM. In blitz there’s a bunch of crappy rewards and if you want a ship it’s an absurdly low chance. Not even reaching 1% most of the time.

I pulled 11 ships including the Yoshino. Spent only $25. Safe to say I used up all my luck

Congrats Derka! We share the joy as I also pulled Lenin today, along with Yoshino, Lion and Kirisame! I (Already have the JB). I bought 90 crates as I ''whaled'' for the first time and got extremely lucky. I also watched Tommy's stream and felt so bad for him, very brutal RNG.

Kirisame is actually likely the rarest ship in the game, minus Konig Albert, Texas Alpha, G101 alpha etc. Nicely done mate!

I wanted to pull Yoshino from a crate but ended up getting Kirisame and Ochakov. Can’t complain with the outcome.

@@8shkay I have been proudly playing this game since release and haven't spent a penny. I even have the 'early adopter' flag to show for it. I do have a scattering of premiums, mostly through getting lucky with crates. The best I've ever done is pull Belfast out of what I think was an Autumn crate. I guess what kept me going was my love for warships and history lmao. I also, not to boast, but I like to view myself as proof that money does not necessarily mean in game success, as I am sitting on a 55% win rate and a 1.47 k/d ;) Good luck on the high seas, Captain:)

Missed most of the early campaigns as well for the same reason. Was just into other games at the time. Thanks for sharing your story!

Having already had the Lenin and Lion from the campaign and event respectively getting the Kirisame was really great. I remember overbuying crates when it first appeared but not getting it.

I prefer this ship over the Mogami or the Suzaya. The torp angles are nice to have, but what really sells it for me are the number of overpens you eat compared to the other two. The only ship I ran into that absolutely ended me was the elbing, and I dont know any cruiser that is immune to elbing. Personally I use Atago on the Shimanto because Haguro even at max rank doesn't give you 32mm of HE pen. Atago's skill to deal more HE damage and significantly increased fire chance makes you better against BB's. Dont sleep on her AP though. Citadels at ranges between 4km and 12km pretty reliably. Running the AP commander (Nachi I think? Can't remember for sure) makes the Shimanto a cruiser killer. When that cleveland goes at angle to hit you with all 12 guns surprise them with half a dozen citadels. Plus battleships going broadside arent ready for a 15k AP volley straight into their weak bow or stern armor. Unfortunately this build actively neefs you agaisnt any angled BB compared to anyone else. Keeping their d-con on cooldown by setting fires is just a better teamplay than dealing 5k extra individual damage. The Shimanto excels in supporting the team through fire support. You are a menace to every BB player on the enemy team, and your gun count means both cruisers and destroyers have to respect you as well. Shoot whomevee your tem is shooting. Get your destroyers to mark who they want to shoot torpedos at and make sure those floods they proc stick by forcing damage control. While the Shimanto can 1v1 any boat in the game, try not to get caught in those situations. Your DPM is still medicore even when supported by fires. You're not hitting for 8k plus a fire like the Atago or Mogami is. Instead you're hitting for 3-5k with a worse fire chance on the same reload. Damage saturation nerfs you extremely hard because there are fewer places you can properly pen on BB's. Your weak armor means every other cruiser is going to hit you just as hard as you hit them, and many have greater shell volume even with significantly fewer guns. Fantastic boat. Top 10 cruiser at T7.

Nice pull! Got lucky and pulled her out of the free bundle on day one of this campaign. I absolutely LOVE Lenin. Could we expect a video soon with her?

Ive pulled a couple ships... Off the top of my head i think it was the t61 and Kii.. the t61 has been fun to play but the Kii is juat a bad joke. Also, the new french battle cruiser line is just bad. I got one of them early access, the first one in the line, and it was just so bad. It was actually a chore to play the special misson to get dubloons in it

If we get super technical the "rarest" ship in the game is the Texas Alpha, only some Alpha testers got it. After that the Konig Albert, was a 1 time auction ship. Next spots would likely be G-101 Alpha, and Kamikaze BS
