The irony in this song is "you feel your heart beating faster", Eric actually passed out doing this song live in a rehearsal and found out he has a heart condition. Pretty sad really.

A few lines of rap over a breakdown is fucking killer. I loved the style and energy of this song, I've been repeating it for the last 4 days.

From what I’ve heard this album is supposed to be a return to form. They’ve said in an interview that Trauma was about them going through a lot of really hard and depressing stuff. It was just a moment in time or something like that. But they said they’re ready and fired up on this album. They stated this album will be “heavy as fuck”. While still having that poppier sound and stuff from Trauma

If the albums name is really "true power" I really like the direction out the big emotional message and into well exactly that.

I have seen hundreds if not thousands of live show and honestly the i prevail screamer is one of the most impressive i have seen live. This song is dope as always

the clean singer didnt want to be a metal singer, originally he was singing pop but he learned to love the heavier stuff, but still has the pop almost rap voice and brings it into the metal songs, which is pretty cool

Saw these guys last week in Brissy and it was amazing! The poor dude woke up with a sore throat and apologised on stage about it and cried, ugh my heart, but god it was so good.

They knocked this track out the fucking park!!!

Almost getting a Slipknot vibe from this one. Can’t wait to catch them next week, catch you lads there!

Cause it did sound a little rap-ish so i just wonder if Joyner mix had anything to do with nudging in that direction

I still hate the clean vocalist but the rest of the song was insane.

I just can't help but to compare it to their last album, and this just isn't good to me. The heaviness is off, the chorus isn't catchy, and it just doesn't have that feel to it like their last album did. That's just me being a huge I Prevail fan and expressing my disappointment.

not to mention, their most recent single Bad Things sound salmost exactly the same as Deadweight... if you listen to both chorus' its almost exactly the same chord progressions and melody :( Bit disappointed in it tbh

I hate the chorus but the rest of the song is great, the vocals remind me of Atreyu in the chorus but not good Atreyu

Love the heavy parts. My 2 cons would be the clean parts. It makes me cring for se reason and all the cussing. Not a big fan of that in songs.
