Sombra who is super simple to play and get value against these heros. You don't even need to play her the way she is intended in order to stomp the enemy. Meanwhile the characters she counters require a ton of skill to utilize properly. But the enemy Sombra will just tell you to "cry more"

​@@charleshaines9715 the way you wrote your comment seems to suggest that you complain in match chat about Sombra and then are surprised when an opponent doesn't agree with you and feel sorry for doing what they need to do in order to win. don't get me wrong, Sombra can be annoying and she will never be balanced until they put her invis on a timer (which would increase the skill floor and add risk to setting up plays in the enemy backline). but I don't know if match chat is the place to air your grievances. you're not going to get much sympathy from your opponents

Just an FYI, the wall jump tech is a lot less useful to learn now because you can just use grapple/retract and the grapple will only be on a 1-second cooldown.

its still useful, especially for speed, you can wall climb higher spots with wall jump much faster than the grapple, its also more surprising, does damage when you land and doesnt have the chance to accidentally mess up and leave you with a longer grapple cooldown.

you know, I enjoy playing with a good wrecking ball. I like how independent ball is and how i can focus on supporting them with utility or following up on their dives with damage instead of needing to be constantly stressed about their hp. granted, i love doing what i can to keep my teammates alive, i find that very gratifying, but it's always fun to have a team comp where everyone starts out a little more self reliant for their hp needs, it mixes things up and lets me work on a non-healing-heavy play style also, I'm deeply fond of wrecking balls who will park themselves right in front of their supports between fights to give them ult charge and then jump a few times, say hello, and go back to doing ball things lol it's very charming

I myself just started playing ball, the last two weeks have been really fun, up until the whole qp lobbing counter picks you and ruins your game because you're doing well on a character you're learning 🤣

I get it when I'm not even doing well, just merely existing as Ball in a QP game means the enemy team automatically swap to Hog, Sombra, Cass, Brig and Ana

I didn’t pick up OW2 until late season 9. Ball is my hero with the most hours logged cuz he’s so fun to play once you get him down. Playing with a good team helps too

I’ve been a Ball main and I’m still not great. But, I can promise the main role of ball is to be as obnoxious as possible while not dying.

They should really highlight when it's a back fill. I always sit there for a bit.

WB is still meh. It's super comp dependent and relies on dps following up with you. It doesn't matter how good you get at WB, he's just weak.

not in my experience. good ball players get a lot of value just from disrupting and distracting the enemy team. even if your team doesn't follow up in an ideal way, good balls are able to prevent the enemy team from doing whatever they want. if the enemy supports are constantly having to fend off a ball, that means the rest of the team isn't getting supported much, which makes it easier for the frontline. ball isn't weak. he's just a different kind of tank, and you have to know how to adjust based on how deep your team is willing to go with you and how much follow up your team is able to do. and the beautiful thing about overwatch is every hero is situational. sometimes ball won't be the play. that doesn't mean ball is weak. it just means you're not able to synergize with your team or the other team is doing a great job preventing you from doing ball stuff. tldr ball isn't weak. good ball players know how to dictate the flow of fights and how to adapt to their teams so they set their teams up for success. they don't limit themselves to one play style and expect their team to play "correctly"

Check off for ideal “fun” ball gameplay: Can u pop shots TTK in 2 secs? Mercy Ress, Suzu, or other “immortality” on Cool Down? Sombra only peeks u on pile drive? GG u must be in junkyard docks ez win. 😂

pretty dramatic take. the only real problem is the lack of a timer on invis. if the devs ever implement that again, Sombra will be in a much better place because she will require a lot more skill and setting up plays will be riskier. then if a Sombra pops off, hey, good for them, they managed their resources well. but as it is, the skill floor is just way too low.

@@sethescope she just makes the game unfun for everyone else by not allowing you to play the game (especially on ball and Doom). Imagine if they added a character to the game that could jam people's weapons (including Rein and Brig) so you can only use abilities during that time, now imagine they can do that on a short cooldown and they can use it whenever they want and their ultimate does the same thing but for 3 seconds and cancels any ults like Hog or S76.

not sure if you're kidding, but in case you're not, it's streamer mode! you can toggle an option that will hide your real username from everyone and will instead show a fake one. this means streamers can play in games without being unfairly targeted or trolled.
