The zero to death was actually hard to hit tho and had a bit of rng. Now with the most recent patch they completely removed being able to even try the 0 to death lol

She’s good up until a certain point. The ranges and people who run away makes playing her boring

Definitely gotta utilize her up special in the air as well, it's a camera flash that works like Joker's air down special and can kill quite easily at high percents if you're struggling to hit up air, on top of her neutral special as well that spawns really useful projectiles that can pop people up in the air for whatever you have to do (the projectiles can track as well as long as you hit the first one), loved the video though, keep it up man

Just a little mention here but after the latest patch they added a hitbox on the megaphone itself when it's completely uncharged, if you hit that part of the move point blank then it does massively more damage and knockback than the charged megaphone

i play her pretty grounded in neutral because jab is her only decent poke, the upairs come out after you get an opening and launch them. her down and neutral specials are also pretty good moves, she can play full screen and get some free chip when she has cooldowns

Better combo as a Velma main. Forward Square square into down attack into up special or you can jump to them and reset with spike

The yellow things are clues. It's how you fill the meter up to get the mystery machine

I switched my mains from Jason to Velma yesterday. Compared to Jason, she feels great and I was ice skating all over the map. Her charged Sair is great since you can approach or retreat with it, unlike Megaphone which locks you in place. Also aerial side special is great to mix up your aerial movement. And lastly, her neutral special is definitely worth throwing out often, but especially at higher % where the tracking projectiles have serious knock up

People say Velma is bad but a down special followed by an up neutral is a deadly move, for me it sometimes rings people out at like 50 damage

i think it's a me problem cus i bought her yesterday and she's awful and clunky i enjoy her but i cant get any kills with her

Durning the beta Velma was a force to be reckoned with you’d see her a lot actually. I heard she isn’t as good now that’s prolly why people don’t play her

That's OP, her current charged range is fine lol. We don't want broken characters, and the broken characters should be toned down to Jason/Velma level.

dawg stop lying 😭she's not the worst char rn but still has a lot of flaws and is close to it. Mystery van you can mash out easy unless you're already at kill percent, and in a meta where it's common for top tiers and even high tiers to kill at 70 velma's game just doesn't fit. Especially against characters with strong approaches mixing up to bait megaphone will cause her to take a lot of damage. Also she has some moves like side special and down special that just arent that good, and her recovery is potentially some of the worst in the game. Yes she's not bad anymore but there's not much reason to pick her over a different character, her tools are just worse than every other character's in this game barring maybe a few.
