I agree with you on that this game should be Factions 2. But even if it's not PvP, I can't believe they failed to make this mode co-op. It's such a giant, unbelievable miss to not include co-op in this mode.

They bombed the game itself, what did you expect? They lost everything. My respect, my hope, my passion. Just like game of thrones, the last of us is dead. It ended in 2013 with the end of the first game.

The One Life + Randomized Enemy Encounters experience gives me big SUPERHOT Mind Control Delete vibes. I never thought we'd get essentially a Spec Ops mode for TLOU.

I can't wait. I love it when AAA games have those tacked on rougelite modes. They let you truly play with the mechanics, while not being rushed trough some linear story. Rise of tomb raider had one, it was fun running in skimpy clothes trough Siberian forest and murdering people. And don't even get me started on hitman freelancer, which gave me another hundreds of hours of a game I've already put hundreds if not thousands hours into

But yes, there was a dlc, in which you explore infinite procedural taiga, fight soldiers on patrol, explore caves, get loot etc. And I remember it being fun for what it was. Was called 'Endurance mode'

​@@norbertpaternosterIf I remember correctly, it also had online co-op, where you and 1 other person could try and survive, had to seek warmth, hunting food, getting ammo, etc, it was pretty sweet.

Damn i forgot how brilliant the animations are in this game

The only thing that annoys me with this is the fact that instead of porting Joel’s animations from part 1 they just gave him abby’s animations..

I think realistically it's a step back, they've released this instead in my opinion, they said they'd majorly downsized the team, I'd imagine that team is what made this, the rest working on their new project. I have a small hope that they update this mode over time, they really need to introduce co-op here though, it's too daft not to.

WAIT… you can fight the rat king as Ellie in this mode?? Oh I am SO sold

What I like about Jackson whether by infected or WLF’s is that “what if” infected stormed into Jackson and you are the lone survivor or if the WLF where Abby and the group brought in back up and you are fending them off to protect Joel and other town folks or as Joel or Tommy protecting against this assault.

This version of the game is ps5 only however if you own a ps4 copy of the game on ps5 disk or digital you can pay 10$ to upgrade to the remastered version, (you will always have to put the disk in when you play if that’s the version you own)

In the PlayStation acess video they said you can only team up with A.I on your side. For ex Ellie, Dina, Jesse, Tommy. Then Abby, Manny, Yara, Lev, ect…

im wondering if they have a bit more variety of enemy faces and/or voices in single player with remastered. For some reason, the limited amount of enemy faces broke my immersion in ps4 part 2.

Everyone who played the story unfortunately know that Joel can’t dodge. Would’ve helped him against that melee damage he took lmao

Naughty dog should have at least made this a 2 player online coop until they finish faction 2

Will there be more characters added?

Personally for me (and this is just my opinion) I am glad for this mode as I have never been good at PVP reason due to me not spending enough time sharpening my skills and some people just being way too good that it’s just not fun for me. This NO RETURN mode is perfect for someone like me where we can play and fight AI and not feel so outmatched that it’s not fun. But on the flip side hopefully Naughty Dog does develop this in time to where someone can play against AI as a mode and also against other people like FACTIONS so that both groups are happy with whatever mode they choose to play.

​@@kg888Theres 19 maps. Naughty Dog dev said 12 maps + additional ones. They were right. Saw a video on deeper info of No Return mode. It's 19 levels total with 6 boss fights.

The extra content is worth the $10 . The game had the free 4k/60fps patch for Ps5 a long time ago .

It's a $10 upgrade fee if you already own it to get the ps5 remastered version which includes the No Return mode and base game.

So after you beat all bosses does it give you an option to go endlessly. Like you defeat a boss on encounter 6 then you just keep going until you die? Hope it’s endless

Oh. There was another KZread channel that got to preview that said something about trying to kill all 6 bosses in one run. Maybe they were confused about it but I was hoping it was endless. Feel like leaderboards are kind of useless if it’s not endless.

So this is similar to Horde mode from the Gears Of War series ?

Part 2's combat was flawless from the beginning and had so much potential, but it always had to be experienced in the context of the story. This mode is really going to push people like myself who have mastered the static encounters in this game to their limit.

It’s because each character plays diff, others are full on just combat, others are more stealth oriented

It really feels like No Return mode is crying out for a co-op multiplayer

this mode NEED a split-screen, AND a online coop

If naughty dog gives me a $10 upgrade like they did for uncharted 5. I'll buy it because this mode looks really exciting. If not I might have to pass this one up.

@@Oznerol1234 all the male characters have Abbys melee animation system except that they lack the dodge apparently.. so they didnt even have to add anything.. hopefully dodge can be unlocked for them just like Manny doesnt have the health kit recipe and has to get it through the trade system.. but if they dont end up doing that. then they are just crippling Joel and Tommy for the sake of spitting more on the orignal fans lmaoo
