The Last of Us Part II is an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective featuring elements of the survival horror genre. The player traverses post-apocalyptic environments such as buildings and forests to advance the story. The player can use firearms, improvised weapons, and stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus.

Yeah, I like that too. Its like in this one german Podcast "Jung (the Name of the Host and also german for "young") und Naiv". Here the Host Tilo Jung dismisses any normal Etiquette towards his Guests. Playing a disinteressed 14yo Boy basically because its non-judging and judging at the same Time. And thats great Journalism. They say something your Audience don't understand? Let them explain. They say something controversial? Let them explain. No Judgement. Nobody asked for your Opinion.

I thought at the beginning that Israel was asking questions that he really didn't know the answers to, but as the video goes on and the questions get very basic it seems impossible for him to not know the answers since he was SF. I've seen other "gun experts" review the weapons in this game and they're like "it's impossible/unrealistic" or "you *_could_* mod that, but it serves no purpose" stuff like that. Whereas this guy, even if the game does it wrong or not real world accurate he goes "oh, I see where they're going with this" or even it's just fiction he still plays around the idea of it and explains it.

Ellie in that shot did it because she had the pistol out for some time. IRL you wouldnt do that and squeeze the trigger in less than a second as it would force you to reposition your hand and line up your shot. Also a good way to get slide bite. Not an expert just a hobby.

6:46 99% of revolvers have a gap between the cylinder and the forcing cone that precedes the barrel. This gap results in roughly a 25% loss in potential velocity from the cartridge and also bleeds hot gasses from the explosion out the sides. It is not feasible to suppress MOST revolvers, with notable exceptions being things like the Russian Nagant Revolver, which has a mechanism to seal the cylinder against the forcing cone (basically an extension of the barrel) during firing. Also revolvers can absolutely jam. If there is a problem with the mechanism, the cylinder can lock up and make it impossible to fire the gun or open the cylinder.

It keeps it running smooth and keeps parts from wearing out." He takes out this keltec 380 micro outta his pocket and goes, almost proudly "I never clean mine. Just stick it in my pocket and go." It had rust on rust on the slide, pocket lint in the barrel, it was bad. He said he fired 2 bullets out of it 15 years ago. Gun nerd time: most revolvers are terrible suppressor hosts as they have a cylinder gap, and so gas leaks out there; generally more than what comes out the breech of a semi automatic, as Lars states. Only certain revolvers, like the Russian M1895 Nagant can be effectively suppressed (by use of special ammo where the cartridge case bridges the gap, creating a gas seal.)

Well, it depends on what you're trying to silence: if the goal is to not give away your exact position from the sound of the slide and the brass with a large calibre, a revolver is certainly better. If the goal is silence over power, a small sized caliber semi-auto is far better, simply because it's going to make less noise over-all, and it's not too hard to modify the semi-auto enough to be very quite.

@@chrismeyers5963 he tried to say revolvers are better then semiauto pistols for being supressed, you can't supress any revolver because of a cylinder gap, the only single mass produced exception is the nagant revolver from WW2, on top of that he kinda makes some stuff up like an 8 guage firing 3 and half pounds of projectiles per shot, also he talks about the Taurus judge being effective for snakes, and honestly it's really not even effective for that if you've ever tried to pattern a judge you'd know that, on top of that back to the semiauto pistols, he talks about back blast which can be a thing on simple blowback actions but the fact that he was saying that while talking about the berrata and the fact that he later goes into mention the Browning action type means he's really just repeating stuff he has heard, with any delayed blowback pistol the bullet is longgggg gone before the slide even starts to sperate from the breach of the chamber and thus they are much more effective then revolvers that even when machined tightly still have a cylinder gap thus meaning they are bassicaly an open design, and on top of that you actually loose some feet persecond because of this (see Paul harrels video) and also, revolvers are really any more accurate then any semiauto with a single action trigger, and actually if you just shoot a da revolver in double action you can be a lot less accurate if you don't know what your doing, that's why most people who carry 1911's love 1911's, even shitty and cheap 1911's have amazing single action triggers when compared to something like a Glock which is pretty spongy in comparison (and no a Glock is not technically a single action being as the trigger actually cocks the striker the rest of the way because the slide bassicaly only cocks the striker most of the way and that the internal safety of a Glock, even if the gun does take a fall and the striker is tripped it won't have enough force to set off a round)

should be noted with a revolver noise suppression is extremely limited as the cylinder and barrel wont have a perfect coupling meaning the sound from the firing is also going to escape, although limited through the sides of the cylinder and barrel chamber only a few select revolvers in history were every truly suppressed such as a slightly experimental version of the soviet nagant revolver that had a forward actuating cylinder that would couple with the barrel chamber and create a seal on itself to reduce noise exhaust.

Hate to break it, but I think that dude is fake, you can never suppress a revolver because of the gap between the cylinder and barrel, the Nagant 1895 is the only one that can be suppressed because of it’s complicated system which closes the gap. He also mentions how he thinks that you can kill two zombies with a shotgun when they are spread apart, this is not true because buckshot doesn’t spread as quickly as it does in games, it’s a balancing tool. I’m no gun expert, I don’t own any guns, but a simple bit of science, logic, clay pigeon shooting and research has told me the basics of how they function.
