Raag Megh malhar - Jod
I took this video from my Instagram.I was lucky enough to record a small video of thunderstorm too.Here is a small story of what happened on 21th May 2020.
It was evening time when I started practicing this raga at my home.I started my practice with alaap followed by jod jhala,vilambit ...(Following the traditional way).My mom sat just beside me and she heard me play the raaga till the end.After I finished playing she said” Beta agar aise hi roz bjaoge toh mein roz sunne aaungi”(If you play like this,I will come everyday to listen you).Then I packed my guitar and went to the balcony seeking for a sign from the almighty.I felt something was special about that day.After sometime,strong winds started blowing.I put on my slippers and went out to the balcony.There was a huge thunderstorm with heavy rain.You can call it a coincidence but rain always has a special place in our heart ❤️ and you can always admire that.
