@@rbhardwa1 It is believed by some guruji that Hindustani Classical Music is to be sung with Chest Voice only, using Falsetto is cheating, as it reduces the effort required in singing. However, once you reach a certain position in music and are able to produce three octaves in your chest voice, or in other words you become a Pandit/Ustad, the understanding of the music extends from these rules. Also if you can produce three octaves in your chest voice, then that would mean that if you want to use falsetto you are really going farther than normal songs reach, thus, it can be considered not a sin.

Then digvijay asked why he left. And he says, cause he is outdated and he wants to learn new things And digvijay immediately gets angry and says, "Agar unn se nhi seekh sake toh kissi se nhi seekh sakte tum" Now thats how an enimety should look like.. Just look he hates his father but respects him as an elder and guru, want to defeat his nephew to take back gharana but doesn't want to defeat as he can't hurt her love, lost in the end but appreciated his nephew and in very end comes to his purpose back "ye gharana to main lekr rhunga" Such multi layered and intricate character. 😅

They aren't singers. They are just actors doing lisping. This is a scene from a web series in case you don't know.

While Panditji is going deaf, he sees Digvijay and Radhe sing side by side. It looks like he sees them as a father-son duo as one of the possible futures if he had not been selfish.

If your throat doesn't feel that Globus sensation with wet eyes and a mild smile on your face (Like digvijay had when he knew the art is in safe hands), then am sorry but you are just an innocent observer of an unknown magical territory of Indian classical music that is way beyond to one of those merely enjoyable experiences that you have in a pub at times.

So amusing that people are talking about classical hindusthani music in films. So Bandish Bandits barely scratches the surface. Listen to compositions of SD Burman, Rahul Dev Burman, Madan Mohan, Shankar Raghuvanshi, Roshan ji and Nausad. You get a proper intro to music than current Bollywood stuff.
