to be fair, after playing fallout 4 for the fist time recently they obviously did take alot of inspiration from the show

so glad he dropped the permadeath run and started playing regular survival, he seemed to really have fun with it on stream

As per proper Fallout and Elder Scrolls custom one must loot all he finds and trow away later what he doesn't need. So funny that Tommy does this in his first playthrough as well!

Loved the Video, only one small edition: Fallout follows a concept known as retro futurism. The game explores how people in the 1950 would have percieved the future and then goes even further to explore how those same people would envision that futures future. So in retrospect: Fallout culture isnt stuck in the 1950s because they didn't make progress, rather its becuase in a sense, this future didn't happen. Hope that wasnt too confusing lmao

This was great, I am looking forward to seeing more!

I really hope you continue to edit and upload the videos. I don'y have time to watch vods but this series looks like a lot of fun

I hope just does a full playthrough without the perma-death. This was a really enjoyable watch.

see this is my problem with permadeath survival in fallout, is that it almost always requires a sneak/stealth build. It just gets so repetitive because any other build just means you get installed

This game in survival mode is GOAT, is the only way to enjoy FO4 imo, survival NO permadeath, it made me feel like if I was in a true post-apocalyptic adventure, the survival mode is very well implemented, and I hope they do this for the next Fallout.

Once you beat this you should play new Vegas next

so very very basic fallout lore after world war II the US started pushing innovation with nuclear technology for the common citizen while simultaneously glorifying the 50s and 60s to such an extend that america is dominated by 50s culture and artstyles. so everything *looks* like the 50s, but really the technology for many things is very advance . . . yet, somehow they never intented the microchip which is why so many things that would normally be small, are still, or are big edit: (posted too early) but during the 2050s i believe, resources were becoming more scarce, and china invaded alaska for its resources, america responds, they fight for years, america makes a landing in china and almost invades bejiing, but the chinese launch their nuclear warheads for america, america does the same, the world ends, 200 years later fo4

I think it's funny that they'd go to war over Alaskan resources considering how much of the same resources they'd have to throw away to acquire them Though I suppose you wouldn't want your rival to have a clear advantage over you Plus with how advanced technology in Fallout is it's curious that resources were scarce when you could probably relatively easily capture asteroids and mine them

I recommend playing this game with mods, especially one that automates growth / construction of cities. Thay way you can focus on actually doing stuff. Also some UI mods really improve gameplay
