11:08 Pre-Emptive Strike is actually a permanant upgrade and not an ability, basically whenever a MOAB class pops up a missile's gonna hit it and immediately weaken it. It's a real good upgrade.

Just FYI, you get one ability for every tower, so if you have 2 of those subs, you get 2 abilities. The reason why you didn't see both is because one of them was still on cooldown

@@CowKirboI know, whenever I play bosses I find myself doing so many stupid restarts to try to be just a bit more optimal, and the intense farming and management needed for bosses is something I don’t think wolfy has or is ever gonna have for a while

A BTD 6 series feels like a natural next step for the channel, I'm all for giving it a shot

Tip for ice monkeys enbrittelment, it's main damage comes from its debut it apples that makes bloons take extra damage form everything, so you only really need one at the start of the track and for slow down later on you can use the other 2 paths especially artic wind.

A tip regarding spike-o-pults/juggernauts: their projectiles have really high pierce which means they can pop a lot of bloons. If you want to maximize their efficiency, you should try to place the dart monkey so that the spiked balls travel down a straight path of the track. These spiked balls also bounce of of obstacles on the map, so top path dart monkey is especially strong on maps with lots of obstacles.

There's not a direct tier list as its mainly playstyle based, but typically you rank using a price/value type thing, which mid path sub doesn't exactly rank high for, but as I've stated, its based off playstyles

@@CowKirbo this is true, you wouldn't play a boss run the same way you'd play on CHIMPS. The most obvious difference that comes to mind is the money aspect of bosses compared to CHIMPS

FINALLY SOME JUST-ICE FOR ICE MONKEY all of the paths are amazing cool and I just freeze in place whenever I see someone who is chill with using them. Also here’s a tip for sub: put a sniper down and it gets infinite range

Hi mate, I agree that Ice is busted! Unfortunately, the sniper trick doesn't work. The upgrade specifies the range of each monkey is used, so even though the sniper can see everywhere, only its tiny grey circle is of any use to the sub. Try it out!

I like wolfy so much he can play any game and i can be entertained like a newborn with glowing colors on a screen

wolfy quick tip: focus one upgrade at a time, and also quicker firing on dart monkey is better than sharp shots

9:20 imagine doing that but with 3 BFB/MOAB/DDTs or even one ZOMG with a BFB/MOAB/DDT. That's what the Buccaneer is all about

First strike does immense damage, enough to completely annhialate the contents of blimps. Even a BAD can be reduced to nothing if you time the useage right before it breaks.

The monkey sub is my favorite tower! You absolutely need to check the other paths it has, both are just as busted. (And most of the community can agree that it’s a high tier, I’d say high A)

For the Jugernaught dart monkeys, putting them at the end of a straight and changing their targeting to last makes it so it hits all the bloons along a long distance.

Recently got off of a massive bloons td6 addiction and was recovering well. Thanks wolfy for now sending me back into a strong addiction

BTD6 TIPS FOR YOU WOLFY: MOAB DAMAGE: Lots of towers are specialized for damaging MOABs 3-0-0 Monkey ace 0-3-0 Bomb tower (preferably 2-3-0) 3-2-0 and 2-3-0 Buccaneer 2-3+-0 sub (as you figured out) And there’s lots of others, you’ll figure them out SUPPORT TOWERS These support towers are a must if your gonna make it to late game (rounds 80-100) Top path alchemist (cheapest and best) All paths village Top path sub Middle path engineer Lots of monkeys are great for changing targeting options: Sniper on strong Bottom path ice monkey on strong Crossbow dart monkey on first, And lots of others Finally, you’ll find that lots of towers synergize with each other well. My personal favorite it top path boomerang with 4-2-0 village and 0-2-4 dart monkey, with a 4-0-2 monkey ace in range of the village for camo detection. Keep playing, the game gets so much fun with tons of different strategies

An extension to your targeting option examples: - Juggernaut, glue gunner, bottom path engineer, kylie boomerang and bottom path alchemist should be put on last. - bomb towers not placed next to the track should be put on close. Putting boomerangs, middle path alchemists, middle path super monkeys, and obyn on close shouldnt be out of the question - any tower with high damage per hit should be put on strong

What an amazing birthday gift, Wolfy playing the game I was and kinda still am addicted to. Also a tip: use Alchemist top path, it is broken. If you want a powerful hero, then Etienne and Sauda are really good and easy, Ettiene at level 8 makes everything have camo detection, and Sauda is just really good at popping things early game

Tip instead of placing a bunch of dart monkeys around the map for the monkey sub with advanced intel to hit the balloons could just place a sniper monkey. It has full range of the map plus the faster the monkey hits the balloons the faster the monkey sub will hit the balloon with advanced intel. Hope this helps.

Hi, unfortunately this doesn't work. The sub can hit "within the ranges" of other towers. Only the tiny grey circle around the sniper will be useful to the submarine

Love the video! Submarine is so good but the fact it’s not even the most broken is insane, I can’t wait till you discover more broken towers. I think you’ll like pirate, depending on the route you choose he also has an instant win button, plane is also op he can aim bot which is insane and wizard is always op all his upgrades are class

Really glad that we might get a series out of this! One main tip Id give is once you unlock more and more upgrades, it’s better to focus on upgrading a single tower rather than evenly spending your money on a bunch of different ones. Although sometimes the situation will call for you to divert your attention to other towers, the main goal is to focus on getting one to tier 4 or 5

I was literally playing this game last night for the first time with my friends and now you are playing this is an insane coincidence!

Totally need this series

Im a huge fan of all 3 paths for the submarine. Theyre all really good. Top path is fantastic support, reducing cooldowns in its range at t4/5 and decamoing in its radius. Middle path is insane damage and cleanup to big blimps, and the t5 is permanant, it also upgrades the activated ability a bit. Bottom path is huge general DPS, and it buffs all your other subs at t5.

First of all, you have improved a good bit since last time and the sub advanced intel tactic with just dart monkeys around the map is a great play. If you want to do the dart monkeys around the map again I would recommend upgrading one of them to Super monkey Fan Club. Also the tier 5 middle for sub is permanant. Finally I would like to say to try out the druid trust me for the top and middle path you won't regret.

This is supremely entertaining. Would love if it became a series

Wolfy, in the settings menu you can activate auto skip. It removes the intervals between waves.

Cam you should get pre-emptive strike, the missiles it launches when a moab class bloon spawns is not really an ability but more so an effect that is always active, it is one of the best ways to deal with none fortified DDT since it insta kills them

This is defo a needed new series

wolfy i wanted to let you know there are maps with special ability type of things too, like for example on that one you played (lotus island) well it has lotuses haha - and when they bloom you can tap them and the pollens burst in a radius, and whatever group of bloons get hit by the pollen burst are stunned for like about 5 seconds or so, then other maps have different special qualities too that i think you'll like!

also bottom path ice and glue are really good at slowing moab classes (moab, bfb, zomg) though with BADs most speed based debuffs dont work on them (or probably dont slow them as much?) from what i know, though damage debuffs i know definitely show on BADs like the wall of fire from wizards where it just shows the BAD being on fire

Pro tip: monkeys with high pierce like top path dart should be placed on straight lines. They’re even better if you put their targeting on last so they can make full use of their pierce

Hello from Canada, Wolfy! I hope you're doing well. You should try out the Alchemist Monkey and his top path Beserker Brew and Stronger Stimulant upgrades. It's really simple to set up, decently cheap, and can make some of the other towers basically TWICE as powerful! Beserker brew buffs another monkey's attack with faster attack speed, +1 damage, and grants Lead-Bloon popping (from the previous upgrade Acidic Mixture Dip), along with many more benefits. Just place the alchemist near a tower of your choice, upgrade said alchemist to Beserker Brew (3-0-0), and let it do its thing! Get Stronger Stim (4-0-0) if necessary. NOTE: You cannot use the brew on farms, villages, or other alchemist monkeys. I hope this helps you on your journey through this wonderful game! P.S: I know that it's more fun discovering something on your own instead of someone blatantly telling you, so I do apologize if this soils a bit of fun out of your BTD6 experience.

I remember Wolfy from GW2. He plays Bloons when I start playing bloons. I am happy that you like this game as much as I do.

You could also get the top path sub to reduce ability cooldowns. I personally like the bottom path more since it's a constant barrage of darts compared to a huge burst of damage

Wolfy i have a tip for you. There is a support class “monkey” which is the monkey village and one off the paths allows all the monkeys in its radius to see camo balloons and later they can pop all every balloon.

would love to se this as a series also test bottom path subs they are great to spam and works great with buffs like the alchamist. Buffs are the absolute meta in this game many towers are good just beduse they work well with biffs like tack shooters

Just so you know, you can have as many abilities as you can fit monkeys. Also, Tier 5 abilities can either be stronger versions of previous abilities or permanent upgrades, which is the case for the sub, which is actually a really good tower. Keep up the good work and I would love to see this become a series.

It’s so heartwarming seeing new people play Bloons TD 6 and seeing a monkey do something that looks ridiculous by other tower defense standards but you’re actually wrong sub is one of the better towers in the game and if you want some more funny strategies if you get a top half ninja monkey and surround it with a bunch of middle paths, ninja monkeys, it’ll get a huge attack speed buff. If you want to use Oben he pairs with Druid monkeys, and if you put five bottom path, Druid monkeys next to each other, they all give each other attack speed boost plus oben damage makes them go crazy and one more is striker. Jones makes it so that black balloons aren’t resistant to explosives and buffs bomb towers so if you combine him with a bunch of bomb towers they will shred everything :D

Glad you’ve found the strength of the Sub. First Strike is one of the stronger abilities in the game, but you are right that it’s not the strongest. It’s high tier definitely, but it’s no Tsar Bomba. Just some more tips, the Sub’s ability is strong against Single Targets, but against groups, or especially DDTs (Which you will encounter on round 90) it falls DEEP off of a cliff. Also, to save up money, try beating maps that are rated harder in the game. I’d suggest beating the map Another Brick, since it will give you a ton of money, and is only slightly harder than the maps you are doing now.

Let's go! Also, just a heads up that you actually have to put the tower down on the map to earn XP.

love to see you playing this game. One of my favorite games besides pvz.sub is one of the best towers in the game but you used the wrong path. if you get a bunch of bottom paths and use the alchemist top path and buff them they are one of the best strategies in the game. if you can get a village so they see camo and lead they are unstoppable. and yes the last tier of the middle path sub is stupid how good it is.

Hey, wolfy, you should give glue gunner a try due to corrosive glue, which can pop through layers AND slow the bloons down, combine it with ice monkey and it can make wonders.

The abilities do stack, one of them was just on cooldown, which is why it looked like only one ability was available.

If you want to unlock towers, try one of the quests for the Beast Handler, or what you might call later on "discount Pokemon Trainer". It's a fun tower but will require thinking for the later levels.

A fun littl easter egg on this map is when the flower opens up and u can see the uh little yellow things u can click them and they will stun every baloon close to it :)

Ik its supper late but the reason u were struggling before u got heat darts is because iced bloons cant be hit by projectiles UNLESS they specify say they can pop ice bloons or are fire attacks, so at the start your ice monkey was weakening your sub

A good Strat for the harder game modes is to get a 2-0-5 tack shoorer and a 5-0-2 ice monkey and make sure that the tack is in range of the super brutal also sub is low high tear
