Honestly your videos are a nice break from the current content binge. Theres no loud music, no cringey overhyped talking or extreme subject matter. This was cool but please do another one where you dive into the popular range of games we played in each of the decades. eg. pacman, the spaceship shooting arcade game, donkey kong, sonic, super mario (original) from the 80s, then super mario cart etc in 90s. Would love to see the games that we used to play and see how you do :)

im almost 15 and seeing the wii almost made me cry, i remember playing bowling in wii sports w my grandma and dancing to michael jackson experience in her living room. i loved the wii.

Hell they skipped the entirety of the 80s, arguably the most important thing cause gaming likely wouldn't even still be around today if not for the NES. They for some reason marked the Atari as 80s despite that being a 70s console.

As someone who has been here for nearly all of it, and who has played all consoles, the ending brought tears to my eyes. Not only did you capture the true essence of gaming from those decades, but you managed to make it an abbreviated yet very emotional trip, from your dad, to a friend you met in the metaverse. I grew up with Mario Kart Wii and New Super Mario Bros. Wii in 2010. I got Wii Sports in 2016 because my school was playing that game one time.

The last 4 or 5 Ryan videos have just been complete masterpieces. I love how the ends always tie back to the beginnings in subtle but beautiful ways.
