In this video, I go on an outdoor painting adventure in my local area and I paint a coastal paradise en plein air. I am painting in a place called Long Beach, in Russell in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand
Throughout the video, I demonstrate how to paint a coastal landscape en plein air using oil paints and I give you tips on painting cliffs, vegetation, water and distant landforms. I also explain how to create atmospheric depth in your painting.
In the second part of the video I take my plein air painting back to my studio and I add details to it.

I have been painting alot lately, and while I paint, I do not always watch something in the background, but when I just sit and paint, things I remember you have said, it just pops into my head whenever I paint. Tips and such that you have. I have watched you for so long now that I dont even need to watch a video to get a tip from you😂 (But I do still watch sometimes)

Sir...I admire your art.I have learned quite a lot from you. Recently I am asked to make paintings for an office....will landscapes look good in the office?....if you can guide me please

Thanks Terry. For the plein air painting part of this art work it took me about two hours, then another few more hours in the studio 😊
But your lanscape are oil or acrylic?
