Every summer I go away for a month so I have learned how to pack a month's worth of clother in a carry-on. Best advice I have is to try absolutely everything in your wardrobe and make sure to have at least 3 outfits to pair it with.

everytime I watch a packing video I always wonder how practical the items would end up to be, so it's awesome that you filmed a video reviewing and analysing your packing!

Birks and socks! Yes! 100%!! Welcome to the west coast! As soon as the snow stops flying where we are (southern interior of BC) the socks and sandals come out. People are tired of wearing boots for months on end, but in the spring it's too cold for bare feet in sandals, so socks and sandals it is! We do have a much more casual vibe out in the west, so I'm not surprised you didn't wear your blazer as much. But all the looks were so effortless yet polished. Inspiring!

i LOVE follow-up videos. Too many people are making packing videos but I always question whether they wore everything or just the same outfit every day (which is more likely) lol. thank you for making this

I love your travel capsule choices. I have overpacked and learned to avoid the “I may need it” thoughts. For my birding trips to northern Michigan, I bring a pair of quick drying outdoor activity pants, blue jeans, a loose fitting UV fishing shirt, several cotton tee shirts, one elevated shirt, cardigan, and a pair of black jeans for out to dinner. Where we visit is super casual, but, I like to look a little bit dressed up for our one special dinner outing. I packed Keen sandals for the Lake Huron beach, a pair of tennis shoes (sneakers), and a pair of black Clark’s loafers. I also pack a hoodie sweatshirt, a windbreaker for layering over the hoodie, and my Carhartt ladies insulated jacket, in case it is really cold. We went in May, and the weather was warm, so the Carhartt wasn’t worn, but, I used the hoodie and windbreaker combo for the cool mornings out on the trail. For birding, I wear binoculars and a full frame Canon d-slr and a 100-400 mm lens. I have to keep my clothing light, yet, layered enough for the change in temps as the day warms up. Keep up the inspirational work.

Really loved this vlog and your analysis of why you chose each outfit and whether you had missed anything/overpacked. Next time you do one like this it woulld be good to see a few more shots of the area for some context of where you were wearing each outfit. Loved it though.

I use a fabric shaver for all my lululemon aligns that pill. It transforms all my lululemon to looking brand new again!!

For Tofino, bring layers. Especially for October - it will be fairly cool. Rain jacket if you have one, light scarf, light sweatshirt.

Blue reds tend to suit me better so I was going to say ruby woo! Haha if you prefer an orangey red or have a warmer skin tone I love Lady danger, Chili or even M’orange for a full tilt orange!

That’s a very cute place you rented. Very nice. ??Question about the luggage. It the luggage is 1/2 inch over 9 inches or less but still over 9 inches, can it still be a carryon. Possible flying within Canada soon and want to know how the luggage size work. Are they super strict about luggage size or if it’s a tad over is it still ok as carryon. Curious haven’t flown in years.

Birkenstocks top tip buy the size that fits perfectly this might be a size down from your usual size, they should fit snuggly but not tight. never be tempted to buy them if they don't fit.

We Washingtonians are known for socks and sandals. 😆 🤣 Mostly I wear all black, my socks and sandals are black too. So, you can't really tell that I'm wearing socks with sandals until you get close. But, it's all good. 😊 Also, Victoria sounds like Western WA to me; it's nice!

@@Christinamychas THANK YOU!!! I took that victoria flight a few weeks before you did :) Loved the ease and convenience of not having to stop in Van! But now i'm doing a trip that has a connecting flight and time in two cities...so seeing Pearson with the state it's in I was going to do carry on this time so I don't need to check my suitcase! Plus i'm going for work so a bit more is riding on not losing my suitcase :) thank you for responding so quickly!

Now I am inspired to travel even more. Flying from Edmonton to Toronto in November. Cannot wait to see Niagara Falls 😍. Thank you for great ideas. Awesome video 💙💛 P.S. Were you able to find Isntree spf in a regular store? ☺️

I sized up to a small! I prefer sizing up 1 usually especially in trenches for a more relaxed fit

I've traveled 1 month with a carry on to different climates. It's very do-able.

Using this as inspiration for my trips in the future. With Birkenstocks, keep them dry and don’t over walk in them, I had to throw away a pair after only 1 year as they were such bad quality (the $10 pair have lasted longer!)
