that's the problem with memes, they used to be rare and we all would look for the origin, nowadays it's just chaos. Remember "hey Tony" from TVMaxwell? Nobody knows this dude who made it, but everybody knows it as "hey Tony" instead of "Don't talk to strangers"

The second amendment was inspired by Americans desire to avoid forming a standing army like that of the British redcoats

@walterbailey2950 From what I've seen, Congress approved a standing army in the 1780s, but the 2nd Amendment wasn't mainly directed towards England's occupation in America. The main purpose of the 2nd Amendment is to give the right of the people to own firearms in case our government got too big and tyrannical. (like how it's becoming now) If you arm the public, the government will have a much more difficult time controlling people. The founding fathers are not dumb and they predicted that it would happen someday. (Which is why they made the bill of rights)
