Jojo isn’t just one person, it’s a family nickname. Also the story is all over the place but somehow coherent. Also while they do have powers, they completely change what the powers are by Part 3.

I was saying that a lot of people reacting to the openings listen to this one, think it's a different song (which it is), second guess themselves into thinking it isn't, and then end the reaction by wondering what was different about the opening. (I can excuse them missing Koichi's stand making an appearance. Most of the reactors I've seen don't even really know what a Stand is.)

It's such a shame that no one seem to care about the second version of the first opening of stone ocean, the change is small at the end but that little scene just breaks my heart everytime. *spoilers* ( for those wondering, in the first version, jolyne turns her back to Jotaro and put her head on the bars but in the second version, she turns to Jotaro, puts her head on his back and hug him from behind, because she finally understands why he left her and her mother and forgive him.

I haven't even watched all of JoJo but I feel like what you were saying about the intros really applies to the whole show. It's not afraid to change things up and you'd think maybe it could get boring but it's just so wild w bold decisions and style that you're like "damn okay, I guess I'm along for the ride".

Let me explain the content, its pretty simple really. Part 1: Buff man learns to breathe an fights gay vampire Part 2: Grandson of buff man fights aztec gods with bubbles and scarves Part 3: Grandson of grandson of buff man team up with grandson of buff man to fight the same gay vampire with punchy ghosts Part 4: Product of an affair (by grandson of buff man) teams up with some crazy japanese people to fight a serial killer with a hand fetish and explosives Part 5: Son of the gay vampire teams up with sad italians to overthrow the mafia using time manipulation Part 6: Daughter of grandson of grandson of buff man team up with plankton to fight a catholic priest who is the boyfriend of the gay vampire in order to prevent him from attaining heaven.

I Love How He Asked If The World Is Gonna End Right Before The "Sono Chi No Kioku" Opening-.. Y'Know? The Song Literally Titled "End Of The World"

They do indeed have superpowers. Most of them take the form of a sort of apparition that reflects and is an extension of their soul and fighting spirit called a Stand. They can have pretty wild and really unique powers, such as stopping time for everything around them, reversing things to a previous state, or putting sound effects on things that make that sound effect real when they're touched, such as sizzling heat or bouncing. As for why so many of them feel like they could be from different shows from the last one. Jojo is separated into different "parts", each having a mostly self contained story with a new main character.

i love how you almost fully understood stands just after crazy noisy bizarre town (the weird funky one after the hot guy interrupts)

Very interesting how many details he's able to get right about the story just by interpreting the feel of the music and looking at the visuals.

The reason is because jojo litrally changes its theme and characters and litrally everything per every season which why the music is always evolving and changing.

Okay. This is the summaries of Jojo Parts in my own words without spoiling. Also. Each protag besides three of them is named Jojo because of their names. Like JOnathan JOestar. But the ones who don't have that type of naming device are still Jojo who are the MC of the part Part 1- Two brothers, one being Jojo and another Dio, who is adopted. In the Victorian Era, hate each other and become rivals. (Shortest Part of Jojo), and this has vampires. Part 2- the Grandson of the first Jojo faces Aztec gods during World War 2 Era. Part 3- the grandson of Part 2 Jojo must go to Egypt with Part 2 Jojo whos older and three other allies to defeat DIO who's caused stands to appear because his mother gains a stand which is killing her (a fucking rat can have a stand. And somehow, she's weaker than a rat despite being young) Part 4- Part 4 follows the illegitimate son of Part 2 Jojo in the town of Morio in the summer of 1999. He, the Part 3 Jojo and his friends try to solve a string of murders that's been happening and who keeps giving people stand abilities. Part 5- Follows the Son of DIO who wants to join the mafia to become a "gangstar" so he, and the person who swears him in, can kill the boss of the mafia to stop him from selling drugs to children and make Italy a better place. Yes, this takes place in the early 2000s Italy. Part 6- Follows the daughter of Part 3 Jojo. As she's imprisoned for a crime, she didn't commit. As she tries to find a way to escape. That's all the Jojo Parts with anime adaptations that take place in one timeline. As Part 7 to 9 take place in different timelines

Holy shit, I've been hoping for this video since I first found your channel years ago! The reason why it often feels like multiple completely different animes is because each part is practically its own show, all taking place in the same world. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure follows a bloodline, and each part brings a new main character and a whole new cast with only a few reappearances from previous parts. Each part is also set in a different location and/or time. For example, part 1 is set in 1800s england, part 3 is a journey from japan to egypt in the 1980s, and part 5 is set in 2000s italy. It does have an overarching story, but rather than having different parts directly continue the same plotline, they each explore new aspects of the world, which has been shaped by the previous parts. Also, please check out both the main character themes, and the villain themes!

Which is pretty understandable since there might be few of the comments that requested the Openings to be reacted didn't specify the things that they need to know beforehand. Few of the Jojo's Openings have their own Alternative Openings where the Villains interrupt the Openings (and also considered as a plot for the storylines, and has become its own unique things to have whenever the climax of the episode will reach to an end) and few that doesn't have Villains interruption but only a different arrangements of the song > End of the World V2 - DIO version > Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town V2 (EDM version) > Great Days V2 - Kira Yoshikage version > Traitor's Requiem V2 - Diavolo version > Traitor's Requiem V3 - GER version > Stone Ocean Opening 1 V2 (slightly changed because of the plot) > Heaven's Falling Down V2 - Enrico Pucci version (also, yes, it's in different tempo for the 2nd version because of the villain's ability)

Should 100% listen to the Chainsaw Man Opening and Endings. There's a unique ending for each of the 12 episodes and they're all bangers.

Most of the time, whenever the opening would repeat with small endings such as "oh my god the cloxk is ticking so loud" its because for the last episode for each season, they add sound effects into the opening, so people count that as another opening. Though they dont always just add sound effects but also add "characters interrupting the intro" :)

So the Way JoJo's works is that it is split into many parts, each following a different cast of characters. The main throughline is that Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is the story of the Joestar family line, each part following a different member of the family across the generations over a timespan of over a century. Part 6 is currently the most recent one to be animated and after it comes something of a reboot to the series, which is why the last opening has this sense of finality to it (the visuals also referencing the very first opening.) Part 9 of the manga began only recently.

Japan doesn’t fuck around with the soundtracks for anime. It is a legitimate media that they pour their heart and soul into, and as a result some of the most legendary composers and artists have gotten their music into anime. I highly recommend checking out any of the works from Hiroyuki Sawano. He is a god among men.
