If you want to have a good, positive, and productive trip then get a good batch of shroom or acid and have someone that is sober (but also experienced with trips) with you to keep you grounded. I'm not of age (or very responsible) but since I take Amphetamine (Dexedrine) for ADHD, I cannot sleep (also autistic so sleep is already difficult due to overstimulation) without weed. It probably has some negative long term effects but I can't imagine them being worse than the severe sleep deprivation I'd have otherwise.

No offence but your friend is the kind of person who stays away from drugs, he/she was probably irresponsible and either overdosed on DXM, or took a DXM product with other active ingredients. I don't understand what people don't get, it's really not hard at all to find products that only contain DXM as an active ingredient. dosing DXM is harder than a lot of other drugs tbh, but if you were to overdose you would know as you're literally drinking over 700ml of cough syrup or more.

Not even close, my husband is more then recommended experienced, diphan trip is a full emersion dream hallucinations that come and go between complete disorientation and complete lose of motor function. LSD is occasionally full emersion but not often and not a depressant, basically opposite ends of the spectrum but can have one, though rarely, similar broad heading symptom. On another note, your friends are either not having much brains or care if they were juat going about their business with you like that!

JacindaTAG no, that's not how ADHD works. ADHD has to do with dopamine, some prescription stimulants that release dopamine like adderall, may calm you down. But that's been proven a myth. Benadryl is an anti histamine and has nothing to do with dopamine. Caffeine acts on adenosine receptors and has nothing to do with dopamine. You're wrong. The stimulant paradox (where stimulants calm ADHD people down) is a myth, amphetamines affect everyone generally the same way.

I could disagree. High dosages often come with Dissociation as well as Very vivid hallucinations. though diphenhydramine isn't a psychoactive compound the trip sure did fuck me up. I'd have to say the experience was equal in visuals with LSD only with the benadryl it was realistic. Rather then patterns and 3D geometric shapes, I was presented with Insect and reptile like hallucinations. Spiders on my legs, Or a snake coming out of the floor and slithering across the carpet, or even writing spelling out "Death" appearing on the table only to erase itself afterwards. The constant feeling of what's real and what isn't is very intense. I can't say it will be an enjoyable trip, more or less the opposite though I would recommend 450-500mg of benadryl with a sitter. This is enough for Vivid hallucinations and heavy dissociation.

+Saint Vitus +Saint Vitus yeah, it's definitely way scarier in my opinion to trip off things like Benadryl because like you said it's extremely scary! Most of the people that trip hard off of that report seeing insects/spiders/snakes like you said and it's definitely not for everybody. It's also extremely dangerous to be taking that in high doses as opposed to actual LSD (notice I say ACTUAL, because we all know RC's can definitely be harmful in high dosages as well!)

I've tripped on both acid and benadryl so I have to agree that they are nothing alike. they have a completely different body high and completely different hallucinations.

Never trip on benadryl its extremely dangerous if you have a history of addiction because its very accessible. Your not gonna see fun colors or swirlys you will probably see bugs, hallucinate people that you know, see shadowy figures and feel like you are dying.You will forget what your saying while you are saying it, its like your memory restarts every 30 seconds. Like Tana said in the video she got really mad but doesn't even remember I have known people close to me that used benadryl every single day and would get very angry and say really disgusting things and then they wouldn't remember. They would constantly steal things from me and my friends and it got to the point of breaking and entering to steal things. Those people were both in rehab for over a year it's not worth it.
