In Sleeping Beauty the animated cake is 16 layers of unbaked frosted cake sliding. The white areas are unfrosted cake. The 1 star bakery did a great job recreating it almost exactly.

Right? The five star may have the animated look, but it isn't faithful to the cake. If someone were to put the 5 star cake in front of me I would not immediately recognize that it was the Sleeping Beauty cake; I would assume it's a variant of the messy/melting/topsy turvy cakes. But I would immediately recognize the 1 star cake as the one from Sleeping Beauty.

Taste wise I would've been much more satisfied with the one star plate but at the same time I feel like even I could've made something better and more edible. They couldn't even frost the sandwiches properly!

Honestly the one star bakery did good for the sleeping beauty one. They went for making it look as close as possible to the picture

i like the 1 star cake better too, the 5 star is beautiful but as for having the animated look, they may not have thought cartoonish and more of the cake dropping down and in the movie you can see the actual cake and i mean at least they cooked it unlike the movie 😂

It wasn’t wax on the 5 star tho, it just looked like it, which was a good thing cus it made it look more animated and like the picture. While the 1 star didn’t look like the picture at all, not animated like it was supposed to be.

If I was expecting a sleeping beauty staggering cake, I would be more satisfied with the 1star. I was even kind of disappointed with the 5star cake just because of the animated picture he put on screen.

The 1 star cake was closer to the original. The 5 star cake doesn't look anything like the original. It's not supposed to be wax it's supposed to look like frosting.

I think the main reason it doens't look anything like the pie in the movie is because the 5* bakery made a real pie, at least it looked like a real pie, if it is a cake they did a great job making it look like a real baked pie, the 1* was a cake covered in smooth fondant so it looked nicer.

The Beauty & Beast platter versions. In all fairness the 1 star bakery gave you fully edible cake and pastries vs the 5 star giving you everything fondant to chew on. Play-doe would have saved you money. Just saying.

The blue drips looked like they were made with candy melts rather than fondant. It's actually a lot quicker and easier than fondant, so they could have taken more time to split the cakes so there would be more layers.

thé 5 star sleeping beauty cake interpreted the image more than recreated which I think is fine and the colours were SO PERFECT for real life. The one star said “we’re gonna give him EXACTLY what asked for” lmaoooo

The Sleeping Beauty 1 star cake looked much better than the 5 star one and resembled the cake in the movie more.

Am i the only one who didn't like the sleeping beauty cake from the 5 stars bakery ? Like if i went to a nice place and asked them to recreate the cake and they gave me that i would be so dissapointed and mad, it looks nothing like the animated cake. Like i know it can't look exactly the same but ? The cake they made looks so small ? And like i would get making the cake smaller to be able to make it look more bent, but it doesn’t even look bent at all ! All in all i just thinks it looks bad ? I would have expected that result from a small budget bakery.

i feel like all the five star ones were more focused on making sure the cakes looked good than actually getting as close to the picture as possible. also i like that the one star bakery used actual pastries for the grey stuff and not just fondant or something

If the 1 star bakery had frosted the sides of the 1st cake before putting the layers together with the blue icing, it would have been perfect! They really came much closer to the disney image!

The grumpy pie from the 5 star didn't pay attention to the details of what you asked. They deserve a 1 star for that. They literally gave you their version of an apple pie looking cake. Where as the 1 star bakery gave you what you asked for. Very 3D and animated. They deserve a 5 star rating

perpetual Mess, I mean, the 1 Star is lazy messy. The 5 Star looks like their own spin on the Cinderella cake. Making it have multiple layers is incredibly hard to do when the are different sides. Not trying to be too judgmental just wanted to correct you :)

I know, they were so close to greatness!!! For the leaning cake aaaaall they had to do was cut of that ugly caramelization on the sides and use a darker blue frosting and itd look soooooo much better

the cake in the cartoon was supposed to look a mess, and that 1 star cake looks like a very cute mess... I like it more actually

5 star stuff were visually better, but most of them looked inedible, just full of fondant. While the 1 star bakery did a good job at making it edible. After all it's food, and we must eat it and not waste it to please our eyes.

Honestly I would have been pissed about getting the plate of fake food from the five Star bakery because of the fact that none of it was actually physically edible like I get using fondant and stuff over the cake to make it look real but the fact they literally just gave you straight fondant and no Rice krispie treat or anything like a lot of places do like it was literally just straight up fondant is absolutely ridiculous and I would definitely ask my money back because that was not even remotely edible.

for the one star tier cake, the exposed layers look would've been much better if they had carved off the caramelization so it was just that pale colored cake like in the movie. Otherwise I feel like they did a good job. The 5 star pastry platter, I'm sorry, I would've sent that back. When I order from a bakery, I expect to be able to eat what I buy, and I don't want to eat a hunk of rolled fondant.

Although the 1 star Sleeping Beaty Cake looked sloppy, I like that one better than the 5 Star one. It looks more like the one in the movie and seeing all the layers and how they were able to hold up with all the lopsided layers is impressive.

Because he order it like that to be with colors and unrealistic so they need to use that material for it to work.

@@jgon12 the colours for the 5 star cake is completely off....that blue is to dark.

The sleeping beauty 1 star cake looks accurate to the real thing.

The 5 star bakery Sleeping Beauty cake looked more animated & the 1 star cake looked more realistic but I definitely think both did great jobs!☺️

I mean lowkey the sleeping beauty cake for the 1 star was what you asked for
