Mini seasons is a great way for xp. I've done conquest map twice to get enough prospects for Adley Rutschman. Mini might not be the best for stubs but it's great for offline xp.

Its surprisingly faster this year to finish the nations conquest with the faster sims…literally took me less than a day to finish the entire map. So its believable to have done it multiple times

Exactly my thoughts. I think SDS made the FOTF packs random so there was diversity within everyone's lineups this year, and i'm okay with that!

I don't mind but I got lucky. My friend got 3 catches in 4 packs that's just very very dumb and poorly thought out imo.

Sean Murphy is a troll card simply due to how many good catchers we have on day 1 this year

real happy you brought up the random no sell pack it feels like the limited time I have to play and getting a random player I hate really draws me away from the game, they had a good setup last year and should go back to it!

I feel like pitching first week besides a few starters is very challenging to control. Like you will get a perfect pitch release and it will end up in a completely different spot. I’m not mad tho I’d rather everyone hit well this year than every pitcher have a 1.02 era

I don't think of this as team affinity, I think of it instead as the first inning boss program. Rather than get one OP card that EVERYONE chooses out of 3, you get 6 random and 6 choice to round out a solid team. Much better IMO.

Koogs46 The reason why it’s better this way is because of how easy it was to get an insane team last year. You couldn’t try out a bunch of cards because the team affinity cards were so overpowered and everyone had them. Especially when it came to pitchers. Everyone had that Degrom, Cabrera and Crochet card, online went downhill from then on.

i have got the first 2 packs, got cronenworth and tucker, i wanted mitch or seager from the al and belly or cron from nl, all in all, massive L for sds with the new program, it makes it harder to NMS cause you can’t get a full team of guys you want

My packs were horrible I got 4 outfielders, they were trout, reynolds, Mullins, and Benny biceps, which is good, but I have to bench 1 😐 also got carson kelly and jazz Chisolm

I haven't touched grass since launch, RTTS at 90 overall already, full diamond squad except for a few bullpen players, all NMS, completed 1 mini season run, both showdowns, all moments and starter program, all the conquest maps done, some online games, have hit the xp cap 3 times and have the random and choice packs for the program

I like the randomness. It makes everyone use different cards cause lets be honest, we would see the same cards on everyone’s team

The game is so much more enjoyable as a single player franchise experience. The anxiety and manipulation of digital card grinding against online players isn't worth it.
