I didn't know Doug's brother was Davey Wreden till this comment, and honestly Stanley parable and Doug's humor line up so much it all makes sense now

For those who want to know how much money Doug lost during this challenge in-game, I estimated for you. Keep in mind the prices reflect an average Walmart price per unit of that food item. Additionally, I kept the other broken items in account too. Minus him blowing up the kitchen for fun at the end of the stream. He broke a grand total of: 28 glass bottles (olive oil, white wine, lemon/lime juice and avocado oil), 14 plates, 7 bowls and his oven, which accounted for additional repair costs. And used around 2,700 L of water. Probably underestimated, but close. Grand Totals: Expenses: $1271.67 Tips: $331.20 Loss: $940.47 🤣

I'm glad Doug put a rat in his chef's hat to control his movements for this stream just like ratatouille

I'd like to imagine Doug's restaurant gets all his ingredients and supplies from aisle 13 of his grocery store

As one of the few people who 100% this particular game, for some reason, this was very enjoyable to watch as I literally started off exactly how Dougdoug did. (Not spending nearly an hour trying to find a Michilin Star, how to play the game)

Really fun stream, did not expect to get picked on my first one

Who else was just so angry at Doug for like 99% of the gameplay? Looking directly at the pots but not seeing them. Constantly smashing the olive oil glass. Using mop buckets as "pots" He is lucky his customers are Twitch Chat who like smashed glass and dish water. This stream made me buy the game and see if I could do better than Doug. I can safely say I'm a better chef than a random guy on the internet. Also to ensure I have a high chance for survival, if I ate there I'd ask for a brain shake, since that requires no cooking.

I consider myself an above-average patient person. But the noises in this almost drove me insane, I'd nominate this as one of the worst streams for this year's Dougies based on that alone. 😭

Chat is laughing at Guy Fieri here, but in his restaurants he actually substitutes buckets for pots and flyswatters in place of spatulas. Guy Fieri is truly a visionary chef and he goes through great lengths to emulate the experience of dining at the prestigious waffle house. The only way to truly know if Guy Fieri is a bad chef is to have Gordon Ramsey stream his kitchen to compare.

Watching the absolute chaos unfold inside that kitchen, it's hard to believe that Doug's channel used to be known for food.

That moment I have this running in the background while I'm working on something else and I hear "What the heck is Shokshuka?" and I have intense feelings of homesickness and I need to go talk to my mom.

Doug stares at the pots for over a minute while pouring the ratatouille at 1:50:00 (on the other side of the middle counter) and had several chatters say on the middle shelf yet he only checks 1 of the 4 middle shelves, this is utter chaos and i love it

2:29:59 one of the funniest sequences ever from DougDoug, especially the lead up to this.

oh my lord! XD watching you try to figure out what food is. honestly my favorite part of this vod. pls figure out what borscht is.. make yourself a good hearty bowl with lots of ground beaf, and add some sour cream to the top. you wont regret it. it's one of those foods, you can eat 3 bowls of and still crave it. one of the best soupish things on this planet
