13 push up increase in a month at your level is unbelievable. Those full ROM weighted deep push ups in parallels are definitely the holy grail
This required serious commitment. Dude you never fail to impress with your dedication and hard work! Love your channel.

Most of his videos are 1 week “challenges”, and sometimes only three day challenges. Can’t really get any real results from doing these type of videos. A 30 day challenge is much better.

Agree that 30 days is much better, but as a content creator that limits him to 12 videos a year, so hard to do.
As someone who does mainly calisthenics this was awesome to watch! Also, video idea: using an O2 Trainer for 30 days! (Strengthens breathing muscles)

This video reminded me why I started with calisthenics and fell in love with it. You just motivated me to get myself back on track, thanks
Wow!! It was absolutely amazing to see the crazy progress you did. I think it was mostly visible in the push ups. I was like. Damn. He's a beast now. Congrats, awesome video!
Great video! Lots to learn and I weirdly like how you flipped the side of the screen that before and after clips are on!
If you want to continue increasing your vertical definitely keep doing the plyometrics. Jumping up bleachers helped me gain an inch within a couple of weeks. Also improving mind-muscle connection by doing the movement more often will increase the efficiency of the jump. And technique obviously matters but that will naturally improve over time.
Ur da goat. I still remember the parkour, kick the moon tutorial, breakdancing days. KEEP LIVING BROTHER
The kensui weight vest is the best. It gets as tight as you need and being able to readily adjust weights up to 200lbs its all you'll ever need.
Great video! I noticed that you’ve been more interested in your vert recently and I think you could get an extra 2-3 inches just by fixing your form when jumping. you led with the left foot instead of the right foot and didn’t turn your hips to the right to convert the momentum
excellent video!!! i learned tons. thank you.
@4:30 was downright awesome. Y’all are fast and Jaclyn such a trooper getting your hat mid sprint and still filming
I recently started doing weighted pull ups and its such a refreshing way to train. Gains are guaranteed.
Do the hyperbolic time chamber next.
Very interesting video, really astonishing the muscle growth and achieved endurance with just weighted calisthenics. Thanks for sharing and God bless you!
i love ur videos, it would be awesome to have longer videos as well
It’d be cool to see a video on seeing how much you can improve in the murph challenge now that you have a weighted vest to do the true version
I think that if you improve you're jumping technique you can jump even higher. Like, you should take a broader final step. Great video man
weighted calisthenics are my favorite workouts. I do two upper body and two leg focused weighted calisthenics days a week and they've been a massive improvement for my overall fitness level

Kensui makes the best weight vest. Definitely still got some issues but very good for weighted pushups, dips and pullups
Like the slightly different format of the video. As always, good work.
Very good video i like all the training and health focused videos💪👍
Bro your just amazing ❤❤❤❤ I always want a KZreadr like you who shows an amazing workout and it's results 👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

@@tristinl5384 They're pulling at the extremities of your limbs, which makes moving real awkward and unnatural. A weighted vest adds weight right to your torso, the perfect spot. Ankle weights are fine for many slow and controled exercises like.. idk bicep curls for example
Nice switch man. Will try this
Loved this video!
you have the best thumbnails!!💗❤💗
i genuinely love your vids sm
Weighted deep pushups might actually be the bvest push movement because i would say that the best were incline dumbell presses because they create the biggest muscle growth in the chest overall but the weight and the strenght gains are limited because of the stabilyty OR the flat bench press but there the problem is the lack of ROM but this fixes both. if you do a slightly decline variation like putting your feet up on a taller box this is probably the best overall push exercise.
Man the quick improvements and my increasing flexibility and range of motion that came along just doing paralete pushups and weighted core excersises and explosive 30 inch box jumps. All with 35 pound vest. Its challenging, and in my place it feels like a damn sauna 😭. Weight vests are life changing for sure and effective

I unfortunately use the runmax weighted vest, with a max to 45 pounds and another version with 100 i believe? I think its hard to do core exercises on the ground but from a pull up station its better
Excellent information and testing
I would love to see you train like David Goggins for a week

pike pushups on bars are amazing. killer for shoulders ans scapula
Definitely want to try this
Nice! Excellent video! I mix weighted Calisthenics in with traditional weight lifting! I've gotten good results!
I like how the voice over is like the trailer for a intense action movie 🤣
For a good while I was supersetting push ups and pull ups with a weigh vest and finishing my workouts with 50 or more bodyweight push ups. Calisthenics and weighted calisthenics are no joke for improving athletic performance, I only had to stop because it was too much stress on my small wrists.

could you try weighted calisthenics HIT style legs, pull, push maybe with a grip workout with 96 to 120 hours rest between workouts? hopefully there will be less build up of CK and less fatigue and better results

YO I'm tryna do HIT calisthenics. However, how many rest days / sets? Because I feel like calisthenics doesn't hurt as much personally
@undeniableluck3260
10 ай бұрын
If HIT hurts in a bad way you are probably doing it wrong. Calisthenics is good in that it allows for you to adjust your joint angles. HIT requires intensity and that means the percentage of momentary muscular effort must be 100%. However, you must do some warmup sets until you feel warm (around 2 with a minute rest is pretty decent). Then when you do your 1 set all out, you need to use a slow tempo and do an exercise that doesnt require high forces for your level but rather moderate forces that you can handle for 6-10 repetitions with roughly a 3-4 second concentric, 2 second isometric, 3-4 second eccentric. When you fail a repetition, you can either hold it wherever you are until you cant anymore and lower the weight slowly or just stop there. Do not go any further than that, you are not here to annhilate by doing loads of quarter reps and 1/16th reps, but rather do what nature requires for you to stimulate muscle growth. there are many Heavy Duty methods, but do your own research. I would say around 3 to 5 rest days between workouts, depending on your recovery ability will be optimal for most people. Don't do more than 1 set per exercise. If you do a 2nd set, that is a 100% increase in total volume, that is a lot which will be a big inroad into recovery.@@ulyssezbinden9443 Everyone is different and you will have to experiment with the number of rest days required for you to maximise results

Great Video! I noticed you were using the ApexUp Vest ( to start and then finish ) Reasonably prices on AMZ as well What do other on here use or recommend please? Help So many choices Thank You
Honestly weight plates in a backpack work great for push-ups if you just do slow eccentrics and maybe pause in the bottom so you’re not using that much weight. Pro tip shimmy the weight so it’s sitting more on your neck and upper traps rather than lower where it’s gonna slowly drift down, think about a “highbar pushup” I guess.

The only man who is shocking the muscles every week
Can u make a video where u learn to muscle up, but on a rectangular prism like ledge. (It doesn't have to be a strict muscle up it could be a elbow assisted hack muscle up.)
I have the 12lbs and 25lbs version of the second vest. It is much nicer than most vests.
Try ankle weighted ab exercises. Ankhr and the triflexor bar are good ones.
The extended range of motion press ups feel better because of the stretch. There's a growing body of research suggesting that the majority of muscle building gains come from work done under stretched muscles, up to the point that partials at long muscle lengths are superior to a full range-of-motion. I'd never be arrogant enough to say that you should make a video challenge based on this, but...
Jepp, weight vest is great, I just don't like jumping/running with it. When I run I hold it down with my thumbs :-D that is where I get muscle aches... It might be a good idea to use wrist and ankle weights for running and jumping...
You should look into some basketball dunk technique and you can easily grab the rim
genius attaching the weight to the vest
Lucas, friend as you have enough money to buy 3 weighted vest. Then buy a body composition analyzer, that gives percentage of body fat, muscle %, water %, bone weights, etc. That will give precise numbers of what changed in 7 days or 30 days.
super saiyan mode.
your muscles got more defined and definitely gained some good amount of strength
I know the weight vests aren’t tight enough so what I do is I put a sock in each area it’s not so it cushions when it’s bouncing you.

Great video.
It's possible can you give us calisthenics guide full guide please
Do like 2 weeks following McGill's advice (e.g. McGill big 3 core workout)
you need to learn the penultimate stride to really maximize your vertical jump to most likely be able to grab onto the rim
Genuine question, a barbell back squat counts as weighted calisthenics, right?
I am doing the same with 14.5kg weigh vest. Then I drop the vest at the end. I am holding it down with my thumbs
you don't need the plyometrics. do an isometric hold to pre exhaust then do walking lunges, split squats and you can get a good leg workout.
Video idea: do a month straight of just trying to improve ur vertical by using weighted plyos and explosive sprints with resistance.
Like another comment said, it would be a great video idea to follow Mike Mentzer’s principles for 30 days
If you dont get quality blood flow with the weighted vest you get much less muscle stimulation. You were stimulation your CNS(nerves) mainly.thats why you barely had any noticeable signs of development. You need a while for your muscles to take over rather than your cns getting used up mainly.
You should do a video trying chris herias weighted vest

To increase your vertical use the jstep gainer technique.you'll figure it out.

Only the the steps to take off.the jump is about sycronising.I saw that you make a little jump before the vertical that decreases the velocity.the jstep helps with the blocking so you can jump higher.I want to thank you because your tips are very helpful.if you read the message and try it, I'd like to know if it worked.
Everything else is amazing but the plyometrics are actually more effective without the weighted vest when you focus on just being as explosive as possible for an extended period
I’m 14 and I’m overweight does anyone know a good diet I should follow? Also I don’t want to do anything to extreme in case it stunts my growth cause I didn’t eat enough.

Can you do 30 days Pitt myokalypse. Its a German Training system where a Lot of experienced Guys have gained muscle from, even after decades of Training. I Wonder why. The Goal Is around 1 Set per exercise 50 to 100 Reps 3 to 5times per week. For example Chest monday wednesday friday saturday. ITS mostly on isolation exercises and you should Go for to Pump. And the Pump is also the Biofeedback. The Technik called Pit fakk where you paused atvthe bottom and on top about 1 secc concemtric and 1 secc extentric. Would be interesting
I do it since corona bs and gym closures. I quit my gym membership after 16 years and have thicker arms due to heavy weighted dips (33kg) and chinups (12kg only now but will increase fast) Side note I just used a schoolbag up to 25 kg and put weights into it lol. Then I bought a dip belt
