    If you want to continue increasing your vertical definitely keep doing the plyometrics. Jumping up bleachers helped me gain an inch within a couple of weeks. Also improving mind-muscle connection by doing the movement more often will increase the efficiency of the jump. And technique obviously matters but that will naturally improve over time.

    Weighted deep pushups might actually be the bvest push movement because i would say that the best were incline dumbell presses because they create the biggest muscle growth in the chest overall but the weight and the strenght gains are limited because of the stabilyty OR the flat bench press but there the problem is the lack of ROM but this fixes both. if you do a slightly decline variation like putting your feet up on a taller box this is probably the best overall push exercise.

  • @undeniableluck3260

    @undeniableluck3260

    10 ай бұрын

    If HIT hurts in a bad way you are probably doing it wrong. Calisthenics is good in that it allows for you to adjust your joint angles. HIT requires intensity and that means the percentage of momentary muscular effort must be 100%. However, you must do some warmup sets until you feel warm (around 2 with a minute rest is pretty decent). Then when you do your 1 set all out, you need to use a slow tempo and do an exercise that doesnt require high forces for your level but rather moderate forces that you can handle for 6-10 repetitions with roughly a 3-4 second concentric, 2 second isometric, 3-4 second eccentric. When you fail a repetition, you can either hold it wherever you are until you cant anymore and lower the weight slowly or just stop there. Do not go any further than that, you are not here to annhilate by doing loads of quarter reps and 1/16th reps, but rather do what nature requires for you to stimulate muscle growth. there are many Heavy Duty methods, but do your own research. I would say around 3 to 5 rest days between workouts, depending on your recovery ability will be optimal for most people. Don't do more than 1 set per exercise. If you do a 2nd set, that is a 100% increase in total volume, that is a lot which will be a big inroad into recovery.@@ulyssezbinden9443 Everyone is different and you will have to experiment with the number of rest days required for you to maximise results

    Honestly weight plates in a backpack work great for push-ups if you just do slow eccentrics and maybe pause in the bottom so you’re not using that much weight. Pro tip shimmy the weight so it’s sitting more on your neck and upper traps rather than lower where it’s gonna slowly drift down, think about a “highbar pushup” I guess.

    The extended range of motion press ups feel better because of the stretch. There's a growing body of research suggesting that the majority of muscle building gains come from work done under stretched muscles, up to the point that partials at long muscle lengths are superior to a full range-of-motion. I'd never be arrogant enough to say that you should make a video challenge based on this, but...

    I do it since corona bs and gym closures. I quit my gym membership after 16 years and have thicker arms due to heavy weighted dips (33kg) and chinups (12kg only now but will increase fast) Side note I just used a schoolbag up to 25 kg and put weights into it lol. Then I bought a dip belt
