Just on case you're unaware, testing a 360 game disc on Xbox one won't really tell you if the disc would play on the 360 itself. the xbone just uses the disc as a key in a way, then it downloads a BC version to play of the HDD. sounds complicated but I'm pretty sure that's how it works hehe

360 games are very unique in this regard this also applies to 360 games downloaded to the 360 hdd once you download a game to the hdd you can scratch it up a lot and it will still work fine.

I did a similar thing a few years back, but instead of building a kick ass game collection I bought and modified a convertible audi tt with the profits, took about 2 years in total Ended up selling the car when my 3rd(😭😭) kid was conceived and didn't do it again. You've inspired me to start up again and help build my 7 year old the most epic game collection. Just picked up 50 quids worth of CEX trade ins for a tenner 👍👌

After watching your previous vids I happened to be visiting family in Somerset so went to 3 of the insane games shops. Wry impressed, had a fair few pick ups especially PS1. I mentioned I’d seen your vids and they are aware of them. So thanks for the heads up!

Cool. Very lucky. I found a MD in a flea market on a shelf asking for donations! It had no cables or pad so took it for £5 along with a manual for Mat Hoffman’s BMX. I also found a load of beaten up GC games in a neglected garage. A couple of good bits, mostly common stuff though.

Just watched all your trade in videos from the first episode over the past couple weeks, I'm now upto date 😂 bit surreal seeing you go into some of the shops I do (as I live in Bristol).

No doubt you're going to cherish the day you bump into this guy. I'm sure he will be more than grateful for the recognition and acknowledgement. It's got to only be a matter of time before you end up spotting him somewhere mate. Why don't you hang about in his/your local CEX store? Specially considering the fact he's in there ALOT.

I do that with my partner to use her as a shelf when she is with me looking around game shops bless her or my sons pram 😂

I would never shop in BHF, I've worked in 3 of 'em including both the Hillsborough ones, and they treat me like shit. More to the point, I used to buy second hand games frequently, more often than not, the discs were scratched to buggery and didn't work.

Abergavenny flea market on a Wednesday used to have a couple of stalls with games on, I used to go there regular but haven't been for a while

I just realised that you were in both your local town and a local city to you in that video, I noticed the layout of the one charity shop with those Xbox 360 games and noticed the layout and then knew which charity shop you was in, plus going back to the start of your video game collecting videos I did not realise how local you and myself are to each other if that’s ok to say.

wow, I have yet been in any charity shops that I go to that has that many number of games for the Xbox 360 before, not to mention at that price as well, very impressed from seeing that in this video. I did want to ask, do you ever tell your viewers what your Xbox Gamertag might be so maybe someone who would be interested to join up with you on different games gets to add you or not?

Dungeon seige 3 is an real time RPG, can play it on local co-op. Choose from a few different characters, not played in a long time but I think it's still playable

I'm guessing with BHF, one of the volunteers working in the entertainment sorting room looked at the quality and rather than chucking them, put them out cheap at a discounted price.

Having games in general in a charity shop other then fodder is like finding gold dust 😂 I have a question though, what games would you be searching for personally if you was re selling em, or what games will you keep in terms of value ? Great vid tho helpful indeed

pontypool indoor market used to have a stall but haven't been there for a long time so not sure if it's still going due to the pandemic

I have had a BHF jackpot as well picked up: Sims 4 and Sims 4 city living (sealed pc) FFX, FFX2, GTA SA and MK deception, Burnout Revenge (ps2) Bayonetta, DeadRising, TR Anniversary, Batman AC (steelbook), Bioshock 2 (sealed!), Syndicate, Section 8, Two Worlds, Blazing Angels, DoA 4, Dark Souls, GhostRecon AW1 and Prince of Persia (x360). I picked up a couple at first then asked if they had more. She came back with the bag for life 🤣 I left MassE2 and Tekken 5 didn't have the disc should have got them anyway in hindsight.

Don't think I even saw you pick up black ops 2, first one I would of checked.

Charity shops in my area never have any decent games for sale and I've looked for months.

hi my mate used to work in the reading one he did tell me alot do get put on ebay and are sold on to CEX it's a pain to put them on ebay there's alot we don't know mate was saying he seen alot of game coming from alot old men when they died and wife not far from binning them

You can use t-cut it works on 360 an ps2 game discs perfectly

A decent disc cleaner will clean most of them, I worked in a blockbuster for years and we had so many bad discs in and the cleaner cleaned all of them up, even the ones with the really deep scratches so the ones u didn't pick up u probably should of

Sorry. im am new to your channel so I'm just rewatching all of it. Dungeon siege 3: if you know what kind of game is diablo series, then essentially its that. Hack and slash. Never played first. Second was a BANGER. Third was OK in my opinion but I do believe it floped, so the is no ds4. So there :D

Unsure on which disc cleaner you are comparing to when saying it wouldn't clean some of the discs shown. The one I use cleans them up perfectly fine. I offer a service on instagram cleaning up games to like new

Isn't the backwards compatibility just the Xbox one/series downloading the digital version and letting you play it if you have the physical copy in the drive? 🤔 So it might read well enough to let you download the game, but not well enough to play the game on an Xbox 360 🙈

Buy a jfj easy pro, will cost around £300 but makes its money back very quickly

Black ops 2 on the 360 is a good title to look out for. Trades in well at CEX.

Was going to point that out as well. Would have been worrth a 50p (or 33.3p) gamble at the very least.

I didn't realise scratches on discs matter because in my nearest Cex (which is miles away tbf) my friend took in a bunch of games and they didn't even check the discs at all. Just gave the money. Also when I have bought from that Cex I have checked the discs being given to me and rejected some because they were too scratched (I do not like things being resurfaced on that machine....you can tell if it's had that procedure done) This Cex does not seem to care about missing manuals, broken cases or mouldy inserts either. Pick up 2 copies of same game in there (albeit you cant see the disc until going to counter) and they will be priced the same even if one looks mint and the other is mouldy tattered and missing manual. I am just starting to trade stuff in at Cex and was planning on ONLY taking in badly scratched games..and give um some nice broken cases too!

You actually can’t tell a disc has been resurfaced when it’s been done properly. My local CEX gives me mint discs and if they have even tiny scratches they’ll run them though the disc machine and they are like brand new again.

I have a PS3 and Xbox 360 both with loads of games and accessories if your interested I don't live far from you
