It’s addicting even just rebuilding or getting on old engine running again
Steering head bearing grease, fresh fork oil and set the sag top, off radiator fluid... maybe a peek at the water pump...you're dialed for the summer.

@@Mikehoncho191you suck at building. Keep trying and don’t give up. Happens to the best of us wrenchers
The leaf blower is key. I generally clean the chain before washing my bike, but rust will develop quickly on a non-lubed chain. The trusty leaf blower solves this problem. I appreciate your content. A few of your earlier videos on 2-stroke carburetors helped me quite a bit with my first 2-stroke.
Glad to see you're doing good. I'm not on KZread often. But I was while I dealt with a rare form of testicular cancer..you had your battle shortly after I was done with chemo. I sold my bike to help cover ends as I was a new father right before diagnosis, so I lived vicariously through this series 😂 I loved the attention to detail with your videos, especially this build. Hope all's well brother, much love from Florida 🤘🧡👍
Good to see u working on the 2 smokes again gotta say I've missed the uploads the last few years but health is more important anyways... love the video and can't wait to see more
Your attention to detail is outstanding!
Missed the uploads man happy your back hope you and the family are well 🤟🏼

Fork oil bud! Sooooo great to have you back man. Such great videos. Love it.
Great looking and sounding bike! Thanks for all the tips ... truly appreciated!
I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video. It's definitely a great go-through of what to do. Have you ever changed the front fork oil? I'm considering doing it soon because the seal isn't looking too great on mine.
that was so relaxing to watch keep up the great work greetings from bavaria germany

Hey have you ever tried aluminum brightener sprays for the raw aluminum pieces? It’s a acidic product that leaves aluminum looking polished and works wonders but you have to be careful using it around painted and rubber as well as clear plastics and glass and need to wear proper ppe when using it but i would try it if I were you cause I’m pretty sure you would like it better then using the scuff pads although those scuff pads are great. They make scuff pads that connect to a 3 inch round backing plate that connects to any standard drill and makes for easier work using the scuff pads.
I just realised how similar the pryme logo is with the ODI logo
I just bought a 03 cr125 super cheap with the water pump dripping like crazy and the head gasket not sealing well. When I went to the machine shop I asked the guys helping me to measure the cylinder with he’s gage tool and the bike is 2mm over size’s. Who ever did this build spent a lot of money to it, they did a whole Wiseco build up to it including rod crank shaft and piston vforce3 carbon reed’s fresh pro circuit full exhaust system and lectron Carb. I pretty much got a hell of a deal on it for $1,800 bucks 😂
instantly noticed the time on the clock respect lol also where can i find some grip graphics for my stator/clutch cover 06 sx 125 :)
Adorable kid…best part of the video.
Cameron you said you neglected that bike... man my crf250r takes more of a beating than that thing its dirty as heck since my pressure washer is down and I hate seeing it like that but your so called 'Neglected' bike is WAY cleaner than mine could ever be! 06 crf250r btw Edit:While watching the vid I run steel just since they last longer,making me wanna tear my bike back apart and make it clean like I built the first time maybe cleaner! and man I love your 125 and the 250 even more! cant wait for the rm to be finsihed. Been watching since your old crf250r like 5 or so years ago maybe even longer and thats what inspired me to get my 06 crf250r!
That bike is a thing of beauty 🤙
Life is good!
Twin air grand prix filter protection is the only one what will work as a extra layer. Filter will be clean..
Aluminum easier on basket, gears, spokes, hub.looking forward to track stuff. Nice to see you have a bike to just have fun on. Wonder ifl 927, Klotz, Blendzall is less toxic to be around even though gas itself spits out benzene, toluene, xylene, used to raise octane.They all seem worse than lead being added, harder to pin the donkey tail. True fuel use to claim benzene free, but that was probably over 8 years ago I seen that label on the can, doesn't say it now.
you have no idea how fast i clicked on the notification that you posted a video! love all the content cam, especially 125 content since i got a 04 and i need to get in the garage and do a spring tuneup and fix a few things as well✌️

I think those are heat insulators on the pads. They are probably to help keep the fluid cool. If you never experience brake fad you should be fine with out them.

Awesome video I always enjoy everyone your videos that you put out and I have to say you are definitely one awesome mechanic . truly hope you're feeling well . Every time I watch these videos I sure do miss my Honda CR250R been looking around still haven't found one but I will always remember how to rip and race a CR250R Honda the bike was like a handful and I loved it. it ran like a raped ape. and I loved it. PS if you ever run across one and you want to sell it let me know. God bless brother StayWell
I had the same sproket on my 2013 crf250r and that is crazy how a cr barely chewed it up, my 250 had snapped the teeth off😅
So why did you opt for the lighter aluminum sprocket to save horsepower, but go with an x ring chain??? just curious
@CameronNiemela
Жыл бұрын
The x ring chains last much longer than standard, and barely eat up any power. The ProX X ring chain is the same weight as most standard chains, and the friction difference is minimal. If you use a good x ring chain there is not much power loss

What are the chances that we could get some of the textured grip tape for the swingarms???? My 2001 CR250 has scratches and blemishes that I’m having trouble getting out and I think it would look sick to have all matching grip tape! Just placed my order for the clutch and ignition cover tape!!

What is the best year for the cr125?
Yeah buddy! M2TGA!
Sick video Cameron, ibhave a crf125fb man id love the flywheel cover for both sides can you print me off some of i pay you??❤
what year is the cr125?
Honestly I'm actually really curious, what type of grease do you use in your grease gun/can? Most guys would just use WD40 and call it good but ik its water based so that would just leave the second its ridden and stiffen up again
@CameronNiemela
Жыл бұрын
It’s maxima grease
I've never understood grease on the filter. Why would dirt get past a highly compressed area of the foam instead of the uncompressed majority?
@CameronNiemela
Жыл бұрын
That’s where it seals to the airbox. Would you skip putting a gasket on your clutch cover? I did a test a few years back with a half greased lip and there was a good amount of dirt that made it past the non greased section
You make that bike look so big how tall are you??
Would scotch bright work the same for the frame?
