They strengthen our insecurities so we fall their marketing. I stopped wearing makeup after I realized that.
So wash your face to remove oils, but add a primer to give a glow, but add powder to mattify, but then use setting spray to bring the glow back. 😂
Here’s some tips and advice for the Glow Recipe serum. There’s a difference between glass skin and greasy skin. Use the 1-2 drops it says in the directions because it is extremely glowy, but if used correctly it can give you a nice glow while also helping your skin with Niacinamide. Also, gently press serums into skin do not just rub it all over your face. If you’re going to apply makeup after your skincare routine wait about 30 minutes before starting.

That rice powder was one of the first makeup things my mom ever let me use. Back in the 90s you could get these little booklets of paper sheets with rice powder on them. You used them to blot your face and get rid of shine. They are really nice, have not seen a product like that in years!

As a very oily person, I don't get the dewy trend. I get it's a matter of preference, but in my eyes, before the powder her foundation looked like it was on for a good 5 hours and started to break down. I don't think it can last like that for more then a couple hours before literally melting off, unless your skin is dehydrated and soaks most of the serum in. The rice powder looks gorgeous, tho!

12:13 naomi scaring her self is the best thing ever I'm dying💀😭🪑
She is the only person I watch KZread reviews on .. I love how much she entertains herself 😂 and the penny wise thing has me dead 🤡
The setting spray technique…. I do something similar but way less wasteful and it ends up looking better too. I spray my face normally, then immediately after with my damp beauty blender that I used to blend my face makeup, I just super lightly pat the setting spray more into my face and makeup. Like wayyyy light patting. I do freelance makeup (primarily bridal/wedding party makeup) and it works really well with most skin types! I like to be a powdery bitch too and use lots of setting powder, and this method kinda melts everything together nicely without getting rid of that matte powdery look.
The whole trend of doing lines of colors and then blending is how I've always done my eyeshadow and yes the videos are misleading because you're only supposed to blend the outer corners and blend the inside as you go not all at the end. It works for me because it's quick once you get the hang of it 🤷🏻♀️

As far as "Lip Stains" go, my all time favorite is the "Lip Juice Stain" by "The Crème shop". About the same price as other lipstains/lipsticks and is the BEST lip stain ever. I put on ONE coat and then wait like 3-5 minutes and wipe off any extra ( if any ) and my lips are stained almost ALL DAY. and they have like 6 colors. the Pink and Red are my favorites so far. OH and they smell AMAZING

Some of these are so stupid. Like the setting spray? Pretty sure the "right" way to use it is the way the company that formulated it *says* is the right way🙄 But I am gonna need a lipstick that looks like that lip stain in it's blue form. So shiny!💙

hi naomi (and to anyone who is thinking of buying it/currently using it)!! i just want to warn you about the palladio rice powder product. it contains talc which can be toxic. do your research though!
SO. for the setting spray beauty blender thing i actually recommend gettng a cheaper setting spray that works because you do have to use a little extra. The Milani make it last setting spray is my favorite "drugstore" sp. Ive always wet my beauty blnder very slightly with water then soaked it in setting spray and actually apply my foundation with the setting spray soaked sponge and it does miracles for my skin and I have enlarged pores, scars, and fine lines from genetics:) then i just go in afterwards and do a light spray all over my face and i could work a whole 12 hour shift without it budging. investing in a really good sticky primer helps too. my favorite currently is the jelly pop primer by colourpop 😋
i can’t believe that rice powder went viral on tik tok bc i used to get it for like $5 at the beauty supply store in the 2010s and loooooved it but nobody knew about it!! also i love the way you tied the intro and outro together in this one it was so cute and funny 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I LOVE YOU CONTENT SO MUCH!!!! SENDING LOTS OF HUGS YOUR WAY! 💙💕
I relate so well to Naomi, love her creativity!
I personally don't like the highlighted/moist/shiny look. On myself that is. Because I have very very textured skin, like rough sand paper. So when it's shiny it looks really bad. I use body powder (paraffin with talc, unscented, unlike normal baby powders) to mattify my face. I also use mineral tinted powder for special occasions. I'm a guy btw. Also love your bareface. The world needs to know that real skin isnt flawless, regardless of genders.
Ur hair is so cute in this vid tbh
She is literally the bestt i love her sm
the right (in the mirrored video) eye looks really good actually. the reddish shade under the black actually works!
I was drinking apple juice during the pennywise moment 😭 now there’s apple juice everywhere
You get that 'rice powder' at SALLYS BEAUTY SUPPLY and they have 'rice papers for blotting' your face. i have been using both blotting papers and this powder since i was 15!! i am 40 lol so its been around forever, HAHAHA weird ppl just jumping on the rice powder train.
i always do a powder base when i do my eyeshadow, i find it helps the shadows blend together. Sometimes i use light colored face powder and sometimes i use an eyeshadow
This whole video was TRESH, and I loved every second of it all, especially the "creepy" moments, those were EVERYTHING!!!!!
Little tip to try out: I was used to just put glowing pimer on my cheeks, where I wanted my highlighter to be put foundation onand after that a little bit of a very settle highlighter - was beautyful😁

@@alexa_7857 😂😂yeah, I *was used to* do it, 'cause right now I prefer a very strong hilight.. but I'm sure the time of the nice softer highlight is coming back, as I change my makeup-moods very often..😂🤣
