I'm going to make a bass that references the sound of a double bass.
For this video, I made the bridge (piece) out of machined brass and maple.
I made an original piezo pickup and built it into the bridge.
The bass I used for the pickup test is the first one.

I've been getting feedback that my old piezo pickup sounded like an old double bass piezo, so I decided to use the latest? I made a pickup with the latest piezo element.
The previous pickup had howling and a rough high-pitched sound that I managed to suppress with a capacitor, but this piezo pickup has this sound without a capacitor and with a direct amplifier.
The capacitance of the piezo element, the low cutoff frequency range, and the impedance of the amplifier... it's hard to say.
I have learned a lot by talking to the manufacturer of the piezo pickup.
