Oh man, now you’ve reminded me of another of MY favourite times too…2Tone! I remember not only shrinking Levi’s but bundling them up with string & bleaching ‘em in a bucket in the garden. Looked wicked with my braces, Fred Perry & loafers! Oh, and stay press trousers 🫶🙌

The food and prices around alicante are so much better andalusia is great but its not as welcoming and things are more expensive and tbh i think food isn't so good. Alicante area and all the little towns is great. Catral has the best Indian restaurant i've ever been to and for three of us with booze was 36 euros 😊

Still wear my Red Kickers with Red Laces, I'm in my 70's and the 70's when we all wanted a pair. Kenny Everett wore a pair presenting a Brit Award I think it was. I've been to a lot of those places in Morocco, went down with the Magic Bus Company. Woh back in the day.

The thing with Benidorm and I have been there many times although not for about 20 years now, is that you know what you are going to get. The people are lovely, the beaches are lovely, there is every type of shop, restaurant and bar you could ever want and yet you don't need to go far to find the quiet countryside.

Ps we went to the bargain loving Brits campsite last Xmas. Billy even gigged there Xmas day. Whole thing was far better than we imagined. Loved the mountains, loved the people, loved the old town and also had to give ourselves a slap on the wrist

The storage is a high lid, Terrafirma Wolf Box…It isn’t 100% waterproof tho as there are a couple of small air vent holes at the top sides but I only chuck things like a hose, straps & other outdoor bits in there. Nothing gets wet as such but I wouldn’t trust anything other than hardy outsidey bits in there. On the other corner, it’s just 2x Front Runner Jerry cans for additional water 🙌
