My headcanon until release is that Solution 9 is a city from the Twelfth shard, the shard that got rejoined during the second Umbral Calamity, the Calamity of Lightning. Solution 9 was the 9th plan to avert or escape the calamity and (as fr as we know) the only one that succeeded. Solution 9 actually inspired the Allagan Empire in terms of architecture and technological advancements (with help from the Ascians, of course). It's a long shot, but we'll know for sure in 2 weeks.

and by all accounts, based on their design, my theory is that it's some group that escaped the star that nuked themselves in the last 6.0 dungeon.

Mystery lady is giving me strong Altana vibes. She _was_ known as the Goddess of the Dawn... Also idk why people keep saying allagans, looks more like Mhach to me.

You know I wonder if the Allagans didn't fully get killed off but were presumed dead because they were no longer in eorzea. They could have set up shop in NA ( I'm not sure what the continent is called) and have been in hiding. I definitely think at the very least the tech is Allagan.

I don't think that's a city of Gold another word for gold is treasure but another word for treasure is knowledge so it could be a city of knowledge

Well, I last played October, 2023.. guess it's time to catch up. 2 weeks, should be enough, right? There was no new content when I dropped it, no clue how much new stuff came out since then.

Solution 9 seems like Allags plans to survive the Final Days that never came for them. I just do not find Wuk Lamat any good or interesting. Personality and voice are very annoying and to think my goal is to make her become the leader, make me wanna join the opposite team xD I just hate every character who is like bragging of their skills, then easily gets rattled and lies about being scared. And the voice is bad as it feels she's just reading the script without much emotions :/ I hope she changes a lot during the msq or she's hoping to be a thorn in my enjoyment of the expansion. With Alphinaud in ARR he was equally annoying until he got a personality adjustment and change of voice actor

@ChandaniAranka The devs made it seem like we have a choice in who we support, all I'm saying is that we've had good characters before that have had less likable traits. I can definitely see where you are coming from but I think you should take it at face value for now because characters are complex (as are humans) and 1 trait does not define any character.

​@@BlueDrakk i know 1 trait doesn't show the whole thing, but if that trait will continue and be majority as well the voice doesn't get more depth behind it, it will be a bad experience for a brand new story since I started my adventure in 1.0 :/ I was super stoked for Dawntrail but this new main focus NPC will pull that enthusiasm down a notch :/

That voice on Wak Lamat is terrible

I'm just gonna be going JP audio this time around because Wuk Lamat sounds like a Man instead of a tough tomboy like the JP Audio. I will never understand why they hired a tranzy to Va a Woman. Tronzoids would work better for voicing the pixies or dragons, not Hrothgals.
