I nearly THREW UP grooming this dog
I found a nice surprise whilst grooming Meeko here. She is a large labradoodle who was a little overdue for the haircut and this is how it went.
She is a very gentle dog who very much needed to be groomed as she was a bit matted.

dont owners check that? I have longhaired briards, and you need to be cognisant of those areas affected by their long hair..ears, genitals, armpits or between paws etc

Most do, it could have been a fresh one from just before that they hadn’t realised but it’s definitely something to be aware of with such breeds!!

My mom was a vet my entire life and from our experience, “most” do not lol. 15 years ago I took a black light to my house after a discussion that pets aren’t that gross. Well that was the day I took my rug out and started wiping paws and bootyholes. I was absolutely mortified at what I saw and I cleaned everyday too lol. The fact there’s poop on the wipes 95% of the time after they go (even our lab)makes me cringe thinking of the people living and sleeping in feces lol let alone the breeds that have dingleberries chillin on their couches lol
