Its quite refreshing to see and watch American got to get down and mingled with simplicity of living in Indonesia and throughout without much of complaint like many would or talked how bad things are, Life is always been very simple for Indonesians that's how our ancestors taught us at least for me, we didn't have a lot but we accepted the situation and made the best out of it - i think this world would be such a better place if we all learn to accept life as is , resistance is okay for a good reason but that more often prevent us for being a grateful human being. Finally meeting mas Ibnu and his family after a while. Great to see them. Get well soon for mas Gendut,hoping for fast recovery. A bit sad to hear that the kittens was given away..but I hope they'll be taken good care of by the adopters. It's definitely be my one of my favorite video. All the countryside vibes,the hospitality..especially the coconut things..really drag back my memories of my late grandfather (I miss him so much right now😇). Everytime I go visit him,the first thing he do was going to the backyard to pick some fresh coconuts for me. Then we sat down by the tree and drank the coconut together. I can't agree with the toy that played by mas Ibnu's nephew..unfortunately..but it's very common to see the kids here in Indonesia palying those kinds😓 Well..enjoy Jember Nick..enjoy the reunion..and surely be waiting for your next video✌

Your videos bring me back in a way that feels so much more organic and my speed. I lived there for about 12 years. Been back in the States now for 4. I miss it every single day. Trying to get back. I’m grateful to have found your videos. So much of the other stuff out there is just obnoxious. Yours is not at all. Just a documentation of life on the road there through your eyes. I traveled Java quite late in my time living there. I cycled everywhere and my journeys often brought me to islands farther flung. But when I finally got into exploring parts of Java, I was kinda shocked at how beautiful it is. You don’t expect it when there are that many people there, but it’s a gorgeous place! If I had to choose, I would probably say that Jawa Timur is my favorite part of the island - really rugged beauty and exceptionally friendly people (even for Indo). I realize these videos were filmed over a month ago, but I wish I knew where you were now (if you’re still in Indonesia) so I could offer a recommendation or two. It’s a country that is just jam packed with unbelievable beauty. I found it around every bend - like a kid in a candy store. I found it in this video: watching you cruise passed the little gardens and orchards on the motorbike; the food you were served; the little breaks in the clouds with the bright blue sky bursting out as you hid from the rain. I miss those things dearly. Beauty overload. Anyway, just wanted to take my hat off to your work on this channel. It really seems like you’re down there for all the best possible reasons. I get the sense you’d make these videos even if you only had 5 people watching - it’s not for the likes and to push a product or anything. And thanks for not giving away all the “best kept secrets” like I see so often. Please feel free to hit me up if you would like any travel ideas from a cyclist’s perspective. Salamat perjalanan!
