I moved out in Nairobi, Kenya. | Moving out + buying household items in an open air market

At 20, I moved out of my mother's house for the first time. I had a job as a house keeper in a local hotel and I wanted my "freedom" 😂
6 month's down the line I resigned from my Job and moved back in with my mom. If embarrassment could be measured mine was the size of an elephant.
I moved in with an Aunt a few months later to attend Uni. I differed Uni in year two and went back home for a few weeks.
I moved in with a friend at the end of those weeks. A few months later I got a Job as a customer service rep in a town called Eldoret. So I moved there and rented my first proper house.
2 years later my contract ended. I could not afford rent. A sympathetic Aunt invited me to live with her in Nairobi for a few months so I could find my feet. (This was the first time I was going to stay in Nairobi more than 2 weeks in a row)
I moved in with my Aunt in Nairobi on the 5th of May 2019. A few months turned to two years and a half. I moved out of my Aunt's Place on 31st October 2021.
This video shows a bit of what went into that.
