This film tells the story of a university student who lives with his girlfriend. He receives anonymous love letters from a man, which unleashes his difficult battle with his sexuality. "Snails in the Rain" places a lot of emphasis on the emotional battle of the main character, Boaz. He is clearly homosexual, and yet he denies himself of his sexuality. The film portrays his troubled life - how he suspects or fantasises every man he sees to be the writer of the romantic love letters. Yet, he continues living with his girlfriend, denying himself and his girlfriend of the happiness they deserve. It is quite a suspenseful but sad film. In addition, eye candies are far from frequent, and i don't think it's the way i thought it's so different! this can be more good if there's more scene in which defines movie ....not just create same suspense in whole movie it's makes me feel bored or at the same time excited...! Well it's worth to watch! It's different & evryone did great

I started to watch this a 2nd time then realized the sad ending and decided to quit watching. After all his angst with men staring at him at every corner and him interalizing his needs, he gets married; not an uncommon experience. Millions of gay men get married, but I didn't want to watch that happen again. On the other hand and unrelated, he's a really handsome man and his acting is great.
