People can be UNBELIEVABLE! And why didn't the lease company and the detail personnel notice this? Just unbelievable.

Key of advice don't forget to put the caps back on the tel for the hydronic and heat lines,keep the road grime out and from clogging up the next drivers lines.

I think I was in the detail area when that truck was in there ( if thats the same truck). One of the detail guys was tossing out dirty clothes,garbage and a dirty mattress and he looked pissed. If that's the same truck. Thats just disgusting. They shouldn't have given it out until it was really, really clean.

Maaaaaan you sound so out of sorts, I’m laughing but I feel you. You spend all of your time in that truck and you want it to be right. When I switched companies they gave me a truck that was nasty as hell so I feel your pain. I have that T-Mobile wifi you’ve got and it’s great for COD and I had that Euphomy cooler you got also, are you using that in addition to the fridge that came with the truck? They work really well.

😂 Exactly! Yeah the T-Mobile WiFi works pretty good. The plan was to use it as a freezer bc the peterbilt freezer is small.

@@VezOnTheRoad what l did with mine was set it at 26 degrees and it kept things frozen and in that smaller section I kept a couple drinks. I liked the cooler overall tho. And as far as the wifi if you’re in a bad cellular area it isn’t as good but as long as l can play COD when I’m stopped I’m good, I leave it on as long as I’m in the truck.

Maneee that’s crazy! But Vez I finally made it to Springfield at campus inn for orientation phase! Hopefully I get to meet you cause I’m training for tankers too!!

I'm driving a truck less than 2 yrs old. The 1st driver stunk it up. Smelled like cow manure. The 2nd guy said he sprayed the seat and stuff but it still stank. He got pulled over by an inspector and his first statement was,"It's not me!" LOL I took over the truck and used disinfectant wipes on all surfaces. Smells ok now. I should have taken the truck when it was new. It was my choice. Finally got tired of the KW day cab cramped and HATE the touchscreen. Switched to an Int day

shocked and amazed, but not surprised. I kind of second that longer comment up top. You should try to get those plastic trims replaced minimum. sucks you gotta go through this shit 💩

You will have to remove the carpet or use cat litter on the carpet to absorb the smell out of the carpet. maybe baking soda may work but i doubt it. I would remove the carpet.

Bro, why you needed your girl to tell you how bad it smells before you addressed it? That area is a contaminated bio hazard 😢. How could you not address this on initial inspection? You're still in your first 90 days, make them replace the entire section. They needed a specialized company to remove all the bio hazard components. You have to put your foot down on this one. If I were you I would request another truck, plus food replacement cost. Don't be a nice guy on this one. Stay safe and God bless you young brother 🙏🏿.

The smell is not in the cabinet because it's a non porous material they are going have to replace the entire bunk carpet that's what's keeping that smell in truck good luck to you and safe travels !

Man I feel for u that was a surprise on u and use like the bed pillows r cool do u have enough of them my wife loads the bed up with pillows to must be a thing be safe truck looking good see u on the next one.

When you get a tanker wash, I assume they also washout the hoses?

Yeah I can add trip planning to some of the videos. I keep it around 57-60 mph. Sometimes I’m rolling at 65 but not often. Also if you decide to come use my driver code when applying(FRSHAD).

Some truck drivers are nasty and sleezy bro I like how you keep your stuff clean, you shower and try to eat good so your not apart of the disgusting % of drivers cause they get dirty bro how can someone be so nasty and leave poop all over the truck gross

You could disinfect all day long. I wouldnt feel comfortable putting any food inside that cabinet. Don't let them clean it. It needs to be replaced. Hepatitis is real fam.

That’s some BS. Prime charges (I believe) 360 dollars to detail the truck after they turn the keys in. Why didn’t Prime detail it? Something you might wanna bro g up to your FM and see if it was detailed. If not, try and get that done asap. If so then how was the 💩 missed? This is one of many reasons why drivers really need to inspect every inch of their truck. But I get it it people get excited about their brand new toy. They start over looking stuff. Hope you’ll able to get that smell out.

When I was a company driver, I had to switch trucks when I had surgery. I had to have TAR cleaned off of it. TAR. It must have crashed in a construction zone. It cement dried on the guard. Tar on the steps, inside and a fairing was gone. It had issues. It had the screws missing on the forward sensor which took me forever to find the problem with it flopping around. I found it. Not any techs. Not prime or freightliner.

Man that's some nasty stuff. I do some pretty questionable things out there but leaving a poop bucket in the truck is just unreal. Prime starting to show their real colors. I know THEY wouldn't drive a car or truck with poop stains in it. Treating y'all like animals. Not cool. They have got to take care of it. Save all your e-mails and text messages. Don't take no for an answer. Driver jobs are a dime a dozen.

Get some Peppermint Oil and or Lemon Oil and put a couple of drops on a ball of cotton or wad of Guaze, and wipe the inside of it. The odor should be gone within 10 minutes. Hopes that helps. Vez, there is no way they did not smell the odor, and probably thought it as a joke for the new person getting this truck. No way if you are detailing a truck you miss that?

Ok, by me being an elder and set in my own ways, this is exactly why I don't really want to ride in a semi with anyone I don't know and definitely why I don't like using used equipment. Some people are just disgusting ass individuals. I still want to use Prime as a stepping stone, but I absolutely refuse to lower my standards of cleanliness and respect, and I don't want to be made out to be an unreasonable person. But when it comes to my personal lifestyle, space, and health, I can be a complete mother@#$%@#.

yeah the shit thing is fucking disgusting mate i'd be getting them to replace the carpet and the cabinet becuase no matter how much they clean every time you take your food out of there you will be reminded that someones shit as been slooshing around in there and you will never enjoy a piece of food again in that truck.

The question is why you didn’t look over the truck in detail before you took possession. I keep telling you. Don’t trust anyone in trucking. You’re an owner now. Dump that worker mentality. They give you a checklist to run through. Mine, I kind of screwed up because I brought it to address an issue instead of until the end when I was through to address everything.
