I agree with what you say about shaming the Council, but Unfortunately you, and us, the public no matter what we say, they will NOT change. They do not know how to budget, and they don't recognise common sense. If they were run as a business they would have gone bankrupt years ago. I am 63 years of age and I absolutely hate living in Stoke-on-Trent. I hear people say, well then move, oh my, if only we could. We have been married 40 years this year and we were going to move to Devon around ten years after we were married, we don't have children. Guess what,we were made to feel guilty by out parents so we gave in and stayed. If only we had our time over again.

I agree lower the rents for businesses and it ll all come back i nust been in wwst Yorkshire and wvery town i seen was fine unluke stoke and my writijg which is bad becuass i bfke my finger and its just started to hurt again lol...where i am from we have boarded up and we have one company buying up all the usalnd without them my island would have troubles like stoke to much rent on the high street ...i am really thinking of moving to yorkshire

Also for your info. The taxi do get booked if the ticket man ia around. But they move off as you can see they are in the car and just trying make a living. If they didnt park there where would they collect the customers from the main stand by the lights. It would cause chaos. Next you will he saying send them all back. You do know taxi drivers pay stoke on trent council over £300 a year just for the licence renewal. Now times that by all the taxi drivers. 2.5 million pounds

He might not say send them all back but I will. You are blind to the consequences of such extreme demographic change but that won't prevent those consequences reaching your doorstep at some point.
