I don't know how it's legal either, seems two tiered to me. I used to pluck turkeys for Xmas over forty years ago and the guy I worked for had to complete a course that required stunning animals before breaking the neck to be as humane as possible but that seems to be relaxed for some. Makes a whole mockery of rules. I say rules because we need some rules and law isn't really law.

There's a symbol on biscuits, cakes, bread, crisps, etc etc etc to say which contain halal by products such as fats, so if you don't know the symbol, you're eating halal products. Know the symbol & boycot the products. Most used symbol is a green circle, with a white crescent moon & star inside, but there are others. You'll be surprised just how much of what people eat & don't associate with halal, actually is halal !

You wouldn’t know if it is halal. I don’t eat meat full stop as just consuming all that fear and disease is not good for the body. My body would reject meat a lot anyway and the smell makes me sick. I couldn’t abide by slaughter for my stomach.

Nope, only a handful are - and they’re in areas with a higher Muslim/Jewish population; a decision which obviously makes good business sense. Subway serves pork which would immediately indicate the establishment isn’t Halal: you’ll find the ‘bacon’ etc in the Halal outlets is turkey bacon. Further, pretty much every doner kebab is going to be certified Halal too.

It's all semantics. The landlord would say it is private but it's open to the public wishing to purchase from there and the staff going to the units. They don't want you filming there. Usually this would be reserved for places with security significance. The most important they can do is trespass you, if you leave right away to the nearest public road then no consequence follows, or you have a ten minute argument about what part is private and what part is not, I'm guessing that usually gives the creator the time needed for the content. I also heard many years ago that all non farm fresh meat is done halal style now. I think that facility was a packaging and distribution center, the meat arrives deceased, it's probably cleaned and sized and delivered to local butchers from there. And for those who believe none of our food at some point hasn't landed on the floor of a warehouse or loading dock, I need some of those glasses they wearing.

I worked upstairs in a meat factory for few months as a receptionist The smell of that place as you walked in the front doors by factory entrance was gaggable first thing in the morning. 🤢
