The broccoli cauliflower casserole cooks up quickly and easily. Vegetables in the oven is a very healthy and easy meal. I have never eaten broccoli with cauliflower so delicious. A new recipe for a quick and delicious dinner! You'll make this cauliflower broccoli casserole every day! Cook vegetables! Broccoli Recipes and Cauliflower Recipes are a huge favorite in my family! RECIPE AND INGREDIENTS:
1 broccoli.
Put broccoli in boiling water.
Salt.
milk 2 tablespoons.
Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
Place cooked broccoli in a casserole dish.
Cauliflower 400 gr.
Put cauliflower in boiling water.
Salt.
milk 2 tablespoons.
Bring to a boil and cook for 4 minutes.
1 onion.
Olive oil.
Fry the onion over medium heat.
1 carrot.
Fry for a few more minutes.
1 garlic.
Mushrooms.
Add mushrooms.
1 red pepper.
1 yellow pepper.
stir vegetables.
cherry tomatoes.
4 eggs, salt.
sunflower oil 5 tablespoons.
Flour 130 gr.
Milk 500ml / 2.5 cups.
Parsely.
Add the resulting egg mixture.
Cheese 150 gr.
Sprinkle on top.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 40 minutes.
Delicious vegetables are ready!

I suspect that it neutralizes the bitterness of the cruciferous veggies. My question is, why cook the broccoli and cauliflower separately?

@@madinadina8930 It is vegetarian. Vegetarian is simply when there is no meat. You can still include dairy products. VEGAN is the term you are referring to. And vegan is when there is no meat, milk, eggs, butter, honey or anything else that comes from an animal.

I do this idea with Quiche but prepare eggs, milk, spices, & cheese in a bowl & add veggies raw to it then pour over a layer of thinly cut sweet potato on bottom and around edge of quiche pan and same cooking time. Your sauce makes it something new to try maybe without the potatoe crust. Thanks

Yummy. Looks gorgeous. No wonder you eat this daily. It's similar to a quiche just without the pastry base. You could maybe try making this same mixture & turn it into a quiche. You could eat it with a nice piece of fish, some chips or maybe a jacket spud. There's so many ways to enjoy it. Or just simply the way you made it. It could be made in the air fryer. I looked up the reason for adding the milk to the boiling water. It enhances the sweetness. That said, I would cook both the cauliflower and broccoli in the same water to save work and cleanup. Also, a food chopper would help make things go faster for those pressed for time on many of these veggies. Personally, I would make as shown but I have more time for cooking than others so no judgement here. I love dishes like this. Meatless and full of healthy veggies. Looks like a winner to me.
