I make tanto blades from the cannon barrel of the occupants APC gun.

Ғылым және технология

Tanto-style blades, from a 30mm APC cannon. In the center of the roller from the bearing. The steel is heat-resistant, so it is very difficult to forge.
At 0:22, a section of the barrel is shown, where you can see that the hole is not drilled in the center. Why this is so, I do not know, maybe such technology or workmanship.
Thank you all for your support in the comments. I'm still relatively safe as well. Today is the 305th day of the war.

On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.
10. In what liquid do I develop the pattern on the blade.

Dimitry Shevchenko, I have watched your content on KZread and FB for a number of years now. I can honestly say from the types of tooling you have to the amount and quality of blades you produce, I can see you are a honed professional. I have always been impressed with your work and each video I’ve watched have kept me captivated to the very end. I have contacted you in the past, and even wished you well and safe at the beginning of the conflict your people are suffering through. I have been worried and wondering about you for a few months now as this is the first video I’ve seen of yours in some time. I have prayed for you and for your country and will continue to do so. I am very happy and relieved to see you are still producing top notch blades that hopefully will play a part in your country gaining its independence. What irony it is to think a barrel pointed at your country will be turned into something more personal used to deliver that message of independence !!! I like your style Dimitry 😉 So until the next video, may God our Holy Father keep you and yours safe and deliver you from the tyranny of those who seek to hurt you.

You’re not wrong. I would want independence and peace for all countries of the world. There shouldn’t be wars fought over religion, money, resources, etc etc. And please keep in mind, I am not responsible for starting or ending any wars. Governments today do what they want no matter what their citizens want. If it was up to me, I’d ask for forgiveness and peace from many countries worldwide. Unfortunately it is not up to me. I do not believe the citizens of America want war or wish war on ANY country. Of course there are crazy people in EVERY country, but I seriously doubt they are more than a small percentage or number. I’d even be willing to bet that the number of people in the USA who want world peace far FAR outnumber the people who don’t. I would hope you feel the same way. I would also hope that the people of the world feel the same way. I wish no harm to any country or it’s people. So yes, I pray that country’s like Syria, Iraq, Iran etc do find peace and independence.

@@michaelprue9024 Yes, I agree with you. The reality is that good and decent people do not work in government. To get to the "top" you have to lie a lot and go over their heads. This has always been the case. But we, the little people at the bottom, somehow cope with this and continue to live. Be happy, and good health to you and your family🙏 From Russia with love❤️

thats a fun way to make san mai using a tube then dividing it, i had not thought about that, the non concentric barrel seems to be a theme with their manufacturing techniques/standards, you must check before using a suppressor on a kalashnikov, as their barrels are not always straight enough to not destroy the baffles
