In my opinion, investing is not about getting rich but about gaining financial independence. You need a financial planner to help you become a professional investor. I became successful by following the instructions of my financial planner (Shana Bielich). So far, I’ve no regrets.

I know that today, Aug. 24th, was a weird, weird day, but I was looking at FULC, and it looked like it hit its low by like 7:15 am (it began at its high, for sure - everything tanked today). It had only the tip to of 2 candles that got above that line right around 8. Is that when you are supposed to jump in? Or do you wait until after 10 am when it goes up and dips back below the line? It only goes from 5:50 to 5:40 at that point, so not as much would be made. I'm just struggling with knowing in real time when to jump in and not misread it and lose, you know? Found this information to be SO helpful, though! It's much clearer in looking at a few others. Thank you for posting!! :)

I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?

@@champhallier8468 I agree, and for that reason I prefer to have a financial consultant make my day-to-day investment decisions. Given that their entire skill set is based on going long and short at the same time as well as employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's nearly impossible to not out-perform. I've been using a financial consultant for over two years and I've already seen positive.

Are you paying anything on margin to have the 400k+ position? also when you say you're trading the pull back, are you taking the trade only when the price rejects back off the level for the breakout?

Every breakout there will be a pullback, that is when you entry. you can entry at the previous HH (if you go for buy) or HL (if you go for sell)

Looks like he’s determining high of day and low of day based on the New York market open at 9:30 AM Eastern time. So basically session high and session low not high of day. That might confuse some by saying that.

1.00-1.08. At a 2 to 1 risk to reward you would break even/lose if you win 1 out of three trades, ie one win = +2 and two loses = -2, then costs = a loss.
