I caught some lugnuts in the helmet and chest one night. Luckily i wear a Kevlar vest under my suit for that exact reason. Still hurt like hell!! Glad you're ok.

One thing is a track that rough it’s hard to control a car. Much less race clean. Then trying to pass lappers in that situation is brutal

That driveshaft was scary. I saw a guy once in WV have a driveshaft come thru his car and broke his femur and put a hugh gash up his leg. Needless to say he spent the rest of the evening in surgery to fix his leg and gash.

Believe it or not… The Empire Speedway once raced Volkswagen bugs. It was around 1971 or 72. First time I ever went to the track with my dad. I saw some of the greatest.

That has to be one of the roughest tracks I have seen in a long time what the hell they have street stock running on that also.

Thay should not send the leader to the back if a slower car comes down on the lead car that's BS great job driving buddy 👍

Junk tracks find weaknesses in most cars, and create weaknesses for all the rest lol. Its got some character but there is a fine line between character and should have just loaded up, things cost too much nowadays.

I have been around drag racing and also stock cars all my life and i noticed all the stock car racers they have similar motors to the drag racers...... if u watch them cold start them.... the stock car guys will turn the motor over before firing to build up oil pressure.... the drag car guys don't even bother... just start them cold and let them warm up..... what is the difference between the two engines that one needs to be oil primed and the other one doesn't yet both engines make 700 800hp and both rev to 7500 8000 +
